Oil Paintings. Contemporary artists: landscape painting

The modern landscape of oil, above all, is distinguished by the colors that modern artists use. They are unlikely to use crystals that have been widely used by all artists since the Renaissance. But, nevertheless, nature is still beautiful in the works of modern landscape painters. The modern landscape differs from its predecessors in a more vivid expression of feelings, moods and thoughts. Most often oil paintings are written . Modern artists, like their predecessors, use this material to make the result more enjoyable for the viewer.

Artist Yury Obukhovsky

The romantic landscape of "Costa Bravo" ("marina") is filled with joyful mood of the artist. In fact, this "wild" coast of Spain is a little less than two hundred kilometers long. The picture shows a narrow bay with a rocky shore. The blue of the tranquil Mediterranean Sea competes with the blue as if the color of the sky faded from the bright sun. Snow-white clouds, emphasizing its blueness, echo with the white triangular far-reaching sailboats in the sea, with white foam crashing against the cliffs of the waves. The blue of the sea is not uniform. Near the viewer, it lightens slightly, in the distance - it becomes saturated blue, as if filled with the strength of an unpredictable water element. The picture is so full of romanticism that it does not leave the viewer indifferent. Rocks framing the bay, in the distance are visible in light lilac shades, and near sparkle with gold. They were gilded with different shades by a bright sun, which is not visible to the viewer, but in all its hot rays are felt. In our gray climate, it's nice to see the rich blue and gold tones, and it's good to have a picture at home that, at any time of the year, will talk about the sparkling summer. This picture is good not only at home, but also in the office, when you can look away from the computer and transfer it to a living peaceful sea.

The artist does not close in one marine genre. He is interested in everything: landscapes of Moscow, Karelia, and Crimea. Wonderful corners of Moscow stand in front of the viewer in the landscapes "Spring on the Patriarchs" and "Yard on Tverskoy Boulevard", which open us the familiar again. Constant admiration is caused by these oil paintings. Modern artists see and reflect in their pictures a diverse and delightful world.

Russian Artist Kandybin

The painter gave his love to the landscape of Russia. Its canvases depict narrow, transparent and clean rivers with grassy banks overgrown with grass. Bridges and boats show that somewhere near such beauty people live. Powerful trees, descending from the slopes, approach the shores, reflected in the quiet surface of the water. On one of the canvases there is a five-domed church with a white bell tower, and along the shore white water-lilies bloom. Oil paintings of contemporary artists (landscapes) are realistic. All the canvases of Kandybin are full of peace. And only the stitch-paths tell us that people live here and work, who take care of the world that surrounds them. On the landscape with the beginning of autumn, when the grass along the river is still green, and the whole forest is green, a bright golden orange maple stands out, which sensed the approaching autumn days. Several burgundy-red bushes along the river are also signs of autumn. The artist's view with love stops and on the winter landscape. Clear silhouettes of old branchy trees are especially good against the background of snow. And white-birch birches and silver next to green pine trees and fir trees.

Landscapes of Alexei Savchenko

Experienced landscape painter, who in 2015 turned forty years old, does not get tired of admiring the change of seasons. He is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Abandoned semi-forgotten villages come to life on his canvases. Almost the same landscape, written in both summer and autumn, has a different, but joyfully meditative mood, due to the color. The country road in the summer is dry, and in the fall its tracks become dark purple, depleting from frequent rains.

Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Afonin

Born in Kursk and started painting at the age of 12, he was educated at the Zheleznogorsk Art College, which he considers one of the best in Russia. All landscapes the artist goes to draw on nature, not engaged in copying photos. And the result is the living Russian nature in all its unimaginable charm and poetry. Oil painting (paintings of contemporary artists in particular) is full of high aesthetics. Afonin's works are very romantic. On one of the pictures in front of the viewer opens a small green island with a tiny church in the center. And around in the haze a lake merges and a huge infinite sky. The painter found a secluded and beautiful corner and showed it to those who for some reason can not get out of the house. The view of the artist reveals to us a huge uncharted world.

Victor Bykov reveals the beauty of the forest

The painter was carried away by forest thickets and fringes, in which the city dweller is not as often as he would like. Sun rays, refracted and playing with colors, permeate his canvases. They change the usual gloomy lighting of the forest. It becomes simply magical. And the winter forest, bent under the weight of the snow that has just passed, seems unapproachable, but it calls to make its way through the deep snowdrifts and shake off the snow from the fallen branches, showering them with all its satellites. The morning in the picture is sunny and colors it in a pinkish-lilac tone.

Sergey Peredereev

He is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. His works are full of unchanging admiration for our material world. He does not refer to nature as Bazarov, who said that nature is not a temple, but a workshop. No, this is a temple that should be valued and loved, because the resources of nature are not infinite. To capture this, you need oil paintings. Modern artists admire not only fields, forests, coppices. There is a very interesting little village, possibly a former town, standing on a hill rising up. The painting depicts its outskirts, and then begins the forest. Oil painting (paintings) of contemporary artists leads the viewer out of the urban world, from huge apartment buildings, from the flow of cars, into quiet corners, where everything is full of harmony. Many people paint oil paintings. Modern artists often fill them with silence and tranquility. People in small towns live in a hurry, trying just to land, water, weed, harvest, make preparations for the winter. And going out on the porch in the morning, they fully breathe in the fresh air filled with aromas of herbs and flowers.

Looking at the oil paintings on the canvas of contemporary landscape painters, you see that realism in painting, in which the exact transfer of nature, having origins in the 19th century, is important, continue the work of contemporary artists. If earlier artists set themselves not only genre problems, but it was important for many to show the oppression of the people, now unquestionable skill and love for nature poured into oil paintings on the canvas of contemporary artists, come to life on canvases and do not leave the viewer indifferent.
