A mysterious phenomenon can be observed at night in swamps - glowing lights. Since ancient times, they have instilled fear and horror into people. It was believed that the wandering lights lured the lost people into the swampy quagmire, where they perished. To see a glowing ball or fire in the form of a candle flame was always considered a bad sign. The relation to this natural phenomenon is not unique among different peoples of the world. Most consider the mysterious appearance of the glow as a bad sign, others argue that the lights help people in a difficult situation.
