Mustai Karimov: Biography and Creativity

Karimov Mustafa Safich (under his works he signed the pseudonym Mustay Karim or Mustai Karimov) - a famous Soviet writer, poet and playwright, in 1963 received the title of People's Poet of the Bashkir ASSR, and in 1979 - the honorary title of Hero of Socialist Labor. Thanks to his active creative work, in 1972 he was awarded the State Prize of the USSR. A little later, in 1984, he became a laureate of the Lenin Prize. Mustay Karim was a participant of the Second World War. From 1944 he was in the CPSU (b).

Mustai Karimov: Biography

Karimov Mustafa was born on October 20, 1919 in the village of Klyash, which was in the Ufa district of the Safarov parish of the Republic of Bashkortostan (today it is Bashkortostan, Russia). His father was a Tatar by nationality and a peasant from the middle peasants. There were 12 children in the parents' family. Childhood of Mustafa passed in the difficult years of collectivization. The Tatar people were full of doubts and anxieties, but still lived with expectations and dreams of their better future.

Soon he becomes chairman of his board. Then he works as a secretary in the Union of Writers of the RSFSR. Being a member of the Writers' Union, he repeatedly becomes a delegate to the congresses of the CPSU.

Social work

Mustay Karim was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. Then he held the post of deputy chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. Then he worked for some time at the Committee on Lenin Prizes, as well as in the Committee for the Protection of Peace and other organizations for working with the public. A little later, the writer was a member of the Presidential Council of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Almost all of his social activities were aimed at the idea of cultivating humanity and kindness in society, as well as sincerity and freedom in the soul of every Soviet person.

That was all Mustai Karimov. Biography, or rather the life of the writer, ended when he was 86, it happened in the cardiac dispensary of Ufa. The reason for this was an extensive heart attack, and an old wound for sure also played an important role. His funeral took place on September 23, 2005 at a Muslim cemetery in the city of Ufa.
