Brief contents of the fairy tale "Sinyushkin Well"

There lived in one Ural village a guy named Ilya. He was an orphan. Dead relatives - mother, father, grandfather, grandmother - left Ilya no inheritance. The only valuable thing that the young man inherited from his deceased relatives was a sieve of feathers from Grandma Lukerya. During the funeral they were stolen, only three feathers remained: white, black and red. Another dying grandmother punished her grandson to avoid bad reflections on wealth, as people suffer from them.

Burying Lukeryu, Ilya went to work. He worked in the gold mine. At that time the weather was hot, so the young man decided to go through the Zyuzelsko swamp. Usually this road went in the autumn, but Ilya considered that the swamp had dried up because of the heat. The first time he went in the right direction, but then he lost his way. In search of a road, a young man appeared on a clearing in the center of which was a key with clean water. Ilya wanted to get drunk, but suddenly he was tired very tired. He barely crawled away to rest a little. Suddenly, an old lad noticed the guy coming out of the water. She was dressed in a blue dress, on her head was a scarf of the same color. She was old, but her blue eyes shone with youth and fervor.

The old woman held out her arms to Ilya, and the boy noticed that they began to lengthen. The young man was frightened, turned away and buried his nose in the feathers that Lukerya had left behind. He attached them to the cap to always remember about the grandmother's order. From this he began to sneeze and immediately came to himself. The guy rose to his feet and began to mock the old woman and her weakness: she could not lift her hands from the ground and reach him. Ilya guessed that the old woman was the one the grandmother had told her about. She guards the magic well. According to rumors, there are a lot of riches in it, but few can get them. Long they argued, while Ilya did not promise to once again come to the well. On that and parted.

Arriving at the mine, Ilya explained to the inspector that he was late for the funeral. He was asked about the feathers that they were attached to the cap. The young man replied that they were conspired and valuable as a memory. One of the employees, Kuzka Dvoerylko, envied the mind, strength and diligence of Ilya, so he stole these feathers as soon as possible. Ilya searched for them for a long time, but he did not find them. Kuzka began to follow Ilya to make sure that he would lose his luck without a feather. He saw how Ilya attached a long stick to the ladle, as on Sunday he went to the magic well and tried to outwit the grandmother Sinyushka, to drink water from the well. The old woman valued the courage and dexterity of Elijah and said that if he returns, when the full moon is in the sky, he will receive a reward. Kuzka Dvorylyko heard their conversation and decided to get ahead of Ilya. Soon they noticed at the mine that he had disappeared. Long sought Kuzka, but never found.

When Ilya returned to the well, the old woman offered him gold and precious stones twice, which she held in her hands on a huge tray. Both times Ilya refused, motivating his decision by the fact that a man can not afford to take so much wealth. For the third time an old woman appeared in the image of a young girl. She gave Ilya a sieve, left after the grandmother and stolen by someone full of forest berries. In the center lay treasured three feathers.

There was a girl so beautiful that upon returning home Ilia did not know rest. His stones were not consoled, in which the presented berries turned. The guy used this money wisely, bought himself off from the master, built a new hut, bought a horse, but never married. It was so bad Elijah that he decided to return to the well. But on the way I met a girl from a neighboring village, who was very much like the mistress of a magic well. They played a wedding, but their happiness was short-lived. Both died because they were weak in health.
