Pavel Petrovich Bazhov is a famous Russian writer. His work takes a special place in Russian literature, because the basis of his works is folklore. The future writer was born in 1879 in a working family. After graduating from a religious school and seminary, he served as a teacher for about ten years. One of the students later became his wife.
