"Moydodyr" - a fairy tale about cleanliness

This funny children's story of purity was written by the famous poet and writer Kornei Ivanovich Chukovsky. Main character

The plot of this tale is quite simple. A boy who does not have a habit of washing, will soon pay for this. A blanket, a pillow and even a kettle escape from him. "Moydodyr" - a fairy tale about cleanliness, so after all this cycle from my mother's bedroom appears the most important opponent of mud. He does not stand on ceremony with a frightened slut, but immediately explains what he is not right. Moydodyr reproaches the boy for not following himself at all, and therefore "even trousers" fled from him!

After such an emotional shake-up, he tells the kid how others act: kittens, mice, and even spiders.

Surely the dirt is already pretty scared! But Moydodyr turns to decisive actions: he strikes a copper pelvis and gives a command to his assistants. And then the brushes fly to the boy, starting to be thoroughly washed up. They are replaced by soap: it is caught in his hair and "bites like a wasp".

The most dangerous was a sponge: from her boy escapes from the house. Then the plot unfolds on the streets of the city.

Minor characters

Gryaznul tries to escape from the washcloth and along Sadovaya Street and Senna. Jumping over the fence in the Tauride Garden, the boy is met by new heroes of the fairy tale "Moidodyr".

On his way comes the Crocodile. We met with him in other fairy tales of Chukovsky. He was walking with his sons Totosha and Kokosha. He saves the slut from the ill-fated washcloth and swallows it. But after seeing such a dirty child, he chastises him for his untidiness and sends a wash.

The boy has nothing to do but run home from fear and carefully wash himself. He washed his face with soap and finally gets rid of the ink blotches on his face.

And then real miracles happen: the beloved child returns to her beloved pants. Now he will not stay hungry: pies and sandwiches fly right into his mouth.

Books and notebooks are now friends with the boy again. Moidodir himself is pleased. He kisses and hugs the child, praises him for being clean.

"Moydodyr" is a fairy tale explaining to children how important it is to watch yourself. Thanks to this, with you will be true friends, and parents will not scold for untidiness. The last five stanzas of the poem glorify the water. Those who do not follow these advice are shame and disgrace.

The imagination of the author of this story can not but surprise. No wonder adults still remember by heart the fairy tales of this remarkable writer. They teach us a lot. Children get the opportunity to see themselves from outside, to analyze the situation in which the main character is located.
