Motorized rifle troops are the largest army of land forces and the military core of the army, which determines its overall combat capability. This type of troops is intended for conducting large-scale combat operations. Such combat characteristics make it possible to make a very rapid transition from impact to maneuver, to rapidly change the direction and area of combat operations, to disperse and concentrate forces as quickly as possible, and to transfer entire combat units to the most vulnerable sector of the front.

The motorized rifle troops are a real "workhorse" of the war, taking on the main hardships of hostilities, holding bridgeheads and creating the most favorable conditions for the successful offensive of other front troops who do not possess such mobility, maneuverability and flexibility. And, of course, these units in this situation bear the heaviest losses.

The Russian motorized rifle troops include tank, anti-aircraft and artillery units, as well as some specialized military formations, in their structure (except for the motorized rifle units themselves). For example, parts of radiation and chemical protection, engineering battalions.

Modern motorized rifle troops are equipped with the newest missile systems, which significantly increases their firepower and allows solving the widest range of combat missions. The indisputable advantage of motorized rifle (infantry) units lies in their ability to conduct combat operations in adverse conditions and in any terrain where other troops demonstrate their inconsistency.

Motorized rifle forces are irreplaceable in a war of any magnitude.
