Unlike the exterior, the car interior has been radically redesigned. Changes have touched many things, including the front panel. Now the all-wheel drive Sobol has a new, more accurate torpedo architecture and a modern instrument panel with two large scales of a speedometer and a tachometer. By the way, the latter was designed specifically for the order of the well-known firm EDAG, which at one time made instrument shields for German "Mercedes". Finally, the interior has a normal finish! Plastic, which used to be constantly creaking and thundering (and even on new cars), now has become pleasant to the touch and does not emit any extraneous sounds. Improved and noise insulation, which is simply absent in the early models of the Sable.

Ductor deflectors now do not fall off when adjusted. With the new design of the torpedo, the ventilation system was also reworked, which significantly increased the performance of the stove. As for passengers, the all-wheel drive Sobol is capable of accommodating up to 6 people in several rows of seats, which makes it possible to manage without the rights of the category "D". The Gorky factory also produces a 10-seat extended version.

Under the hood of the minivan is the American turbodiesel engine "Cummins", used also on cars "GAZelle Business". With its working volume of 2.8 liters, it delivers up to 120 horsepower of power. The help of American colleagues allowed to reduce the total fuel consumption to 10.5 liters in a mixed mode. But with the dynamics of the "Sable" is not all so smooth. A jerk from zero to "hundred" is estimated in 25 seconds, while the maximum speed is 120 kilometers per hour. Coupled with the engine is a manual gearbox for 5 steps.

It is worth noting that the use of the full drive significantly increased the cost of production of the Sable. The minimum price at which it is sold in Russia is 701 thousand rubles (only 300 thousand less than the price of the new "Ford Transit").
