Famous OPG Russia

Despite the fact that officially the mass media and authorities acknowledged that Russia's criminal groups existed only in the 1990s, they started their history much earlier.

OPG (organized criminal group) has a fairly simple, if not to say, primitive hierarchy. It has a ringleader, active participants and accomplices, accomplices or informers, contributing to the commission of crimes. Most often, the OPG includes corrupt officials and officials who need a criminal group to ensure security. The presence of firearms among members of the group turns it into a gang.

Based on the studies of forensic scientists, the OPG of Russia has a different number: from five to thirty people, criminal actions are committed in a certain, strictly limited area or region. The most common crimes are contract killings, robberies, racket, illegal auto business, drug delivery and distribution, etc. Soon, commerce elements appear in its activities, as it becomes necessary to legalize criminal proceeds. There are small trade organizations, real estate is being purchased.

Often, the activities of the organized crime group of Russia depend on the personal qualities of the leader - his own criminal experience, intelligence, etc. In addition, It can depend on whether it acts independently or is part of a criminal organization. Consequently, the organized criminal groups of Russia are the simplest level in the structure of organized crime.

In 1988, one of the most "famous" OPG of Russia was created - Solntsevskaya. The group was organized by the previously convicted Mikhas (Sergey Mikhailovsky) and his chief assistant - Avera Sr. (Victor Averin). The activity of the group began with control over the thimbles, then they were interested in the South-Western region of Moscow and the Olympic Village. Later, Gagarin district fell under their control.

The group's "appetites" grew, drugs appeared in the activities of the criminal group, they did not disdain prostitution and kidnap people for ransom. The "income" received in this way was invested in the restaurant business, and dubious financial transactions were conducted.

At the very end of the eighties, the group is expanding, "Cheryomushkinsky", "Chertanovskiy", "Yasenev" are joined to it. The leader of the "Yasenevsky" Sergei Timofeev headed the updated group. The largest grouping declared the war "peak" (Chechens). Until 1996, the Solntsevo group was the largest and most influential in Russia.

The Bauman OPG began its criminal activities in 1988. The thieves in the law worked for her. In those troubled years this was a solid cover. In 1988, as a result of "disassembly" with the Chechens in the Labyrinth restaurant, the leaders of the group - Bazlov, Sevostyanov, Babayev and Dobrikov - were killed. The authority of thieves in the law did not save - Chechens do not recognize such a criminal institution.

Vladislav Vinner, who was killed in 1994, became the leader of the Bauman operative group. He worked as a consultant to a large company, Tremo, co-founded the company Trinity Motors, one of the co-owners of the Fidan restaurant, was fluent in English, was sentenced three times, and treated at a psychiatric hospital. In 1997, the group was destroyed by the MUR forces.
