Modular origami: the scheme of a peacock. Origami for beginners

The peacock is the royal bird. Among his relatives, he stands out with an indescribable beauty tail. Is it possible to make a peacock in origami style? How to build modular origami? Peacock schemes are difficult for a beginner? We will answer all questions in order.

How to start the study?

Make origami from small modules - painstaking work, but very interesting. If a person takes on origami for the first time, you need to master a few basic elementary crafts. Origami for beginners is a modular Christmas tree or a vase. It's also quite simple to perform such a hand-craft as a paper minion, which children will certainly like.

These crafts are made from triangular modules (elements). And before you undertake to perform even simple schemes, you need to learn how to make these modules. Let's give a diagram explaining the manufacture of modules.

The arrows in the diagram show the direction of the folds. A large twisted arrow means that you need to turn the sheet the other side.

The modules look like small triangles and are done literally in one minute. But for crafting a peacock, they must be cooked a lot.

Crafts for Beginners

But how about collecting a colorful large peacock? Must try to make a modular origami, the peacock scheme will turn out to be voluminous and complex. But such difficulties only "warm up" the interest in mastering a new business.

But you can choose an interesting and not too complicated scheme, such as this option.

At the bottom is a stand of circles, to which the assembled base is glued. It is enough to lay 18 or 20 modules in the first round. The main part is the trunk. It develops according to the same rules as other origami for beginners. That is, the modules are mounted in rows. It is better not to use colored elements at the first assembly, but first to understand the scheme. The model is executed from rather large details. And the number of them is not too big.

How to make a tail? To one part of the base, new rows are gradually attached, with each row increasing first by one piece, then by two. To do this, you need to "hide" the two elements of the previous row under one element of the next. At first it will be difficult to do so. It is necessary to adapt. And the peacock's neck is just a long chain of individual monochrome modules. Beak and eyes on the sides, if desired, can be glued separately.

Scheme of a small peacock

A more luxurious peacock made of paper develops long. The tail of a peacock is especially difficult to make, if earlier a person did not make such figures.

There are no difficulties with the base - this is a diagram of a regular bowl, where elements are alternately superimposed. The basis should be 25 units. Then begins the drawing, which will be on the breast. This part of the craft gradually rises and narrows to the center. Then the last two details are united by one and a long curved neck is formed.

The tail is made of individual feathers, which are attached to the back of the "basket".

Arrows are collected like this:

  • 4 elements one on another - make a "column" to the bottom;
  • 3 elements of the same color are attached to this column;
  • 4 elements already 2 colors;
  • 5 modules - 3 colors;
  • Then 6 modules;
  • Again 5 modules of 3 colors;
  • 4 of 2 colors;
  • And so on to 1.

Collect three such consecutive elements that make up one pen. The color shapes can be different. Experiment. After completing all the work you will have an amazing and proud peacock made of paper.

High complexity circuit

To a paper peacock was like this, I'll have to try. There are models in which the peacock is assembled on separate parts.

Separately lining up their legs, tail, feathers. And such arrows, the scheme of which we explained, you can make and 6, and 8, if the back of the peacock is enough space. There are other assemblies of arrows. For example, sometimes make arches of 7 single-color elements: 3 on one side, and 3 on the other, and 7 element - the top. From below they are supported by the same 3 elements. Inside, one element of the other shade is glued to the back. Use superglue for this. Then these parts are attached directly to the column of 5-6 parts.

Such crafts are already done by professionals who have extensive experience in assembling various models of peacocks.

The neck of the origami peacock here is shorter and broader. In the row there are not 2 modules, but 4. The paws consist of rows in 1 module.

You can train further and try to do an alternative modular origami. Peacock patterns are extremely entertaining, and there are a lot of them.

Peacock with an arched tail

There is another amazing scheme of assembling a peacock with a charming huge tail in the form of arches with feathers. The assembly of such a peacock already involves the possession of more sophisticated "tricks" and elements. Modules need to be combined in some places; In others - to skip elements to make an arch.

The trunk of a peacock should be made in the form of a barrel so that it is more stable. The neck and head are assembled, like the other peacocks. Beak and "bangs" can be invented and done in their own way.

But the tail here is assembled by an exceptionally complex scheme. This tail alone consists of 17 rows, in which there are 430 elements.

The first row is turned in a semicircle. Glue is not needed. Just add one row after another, as shown in the diagram. Gradually, the semicircle increases, and the color modules start wedging. Where indicated, you need to fit two previous modules into one module. This is shown in the diagram by wide triangles with large angles.

Modular origami "peacock". Master Class

Now let's demonstrate how to assemble a peacock when using the graphic assembly diagram. It lists all the necessary numbers: all the elements in rows, in strict order. The arrows in the diagram denote the union of the elements.

There are several nuances in the assembly of the schema:

  1. You can not take a thick paper, performing such a modular origami. Peacock schemes are designed for the fact that all paper modules are very flexible to be connected with each other.
  2. If you want to make an object smaller, use smaller modules. But do not cut the number of items. In the scheme, everything has been calculated.
  3. A neck and a chic tail are attached to the base separately. A large tail can be planted on transparent glue.

Yet for a beginner, it is better not to take complex schemes, where almost 1 thousand elements. It is advisable to look for schematics and video, where assemblies of simple models are shown, on which it is more convenient to learn to quickly collect elements. After all, modular origami: peacock schemes, parrot, swan, and others - train fine motor skills, which develops synaptic connections.
