In the Middle Ages was an English hornpipe, it is he who is considered the predecessor of the sailors' dance. But the year of the appearance of the dance, which is very similar to the modern one, is 1760 (two compositions were composed of two miniatures).

Have you ever wondered why it does not take a lot of space to perform a dance? It's simple: the space on the ship is limited - that's the answer. Melody is built on a musical square, the figures of an apple are designed for 8-12 cycles of performance. The pace of movement of Russian dance varies from slow to very fast. Dancing for children 6-7 years old

Dancing for children 8-11 years old

Children of this age group already have this or that style. Having such data, the choreographer starts to form groups of children who can show their own style at the competitions. Here is a small example: 15 people are engaged in the group, 5 of them dance modern, and 10 - pop. Of course, on a common lesson, 15 children study all directions, it's just that someone likes more modernity, and someone - pop.

In children staying at this age, the teacher can already consider the personality of the dancer. The child begins to repeat very well for his teacher, not allowing any mistakes. And, most interesting, he can add his new movements to modern dance, making it unique. These guys are very talented and usually perform in duets or become soloists.
