The imbalance in the components of cartilage of the joint leads to its chondromalacia. This pathology requires a complex effect. According to many experts, the drug "Alflutop" is an effective "catalyst", which triggers the regeneration of cartilage tissue. In addition, studies have shown that the use of a drug contributes to a significant reduction in the need for patients to use NSAIDs.

The chondroprotective effect of the drug is based on the normalization of the biosynthesis of collagen of the second type and hyaluronic acid, inhibition of the activity of hyaluronidase and other enzymes involved in the process of cartilage destruction.

Due to the restoration of homeostasis in the joint, the drug "Alflutop" delays the biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators, including cytokines. As a result, an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect develops, manifested on the eighth-tenth day of therapy.

The proteoglycans included in the preparation "Alflutop" have a substitution effect, have a trophic effect, increase the hydrophilicity, homogeneity of the bone tissue and the height of the cartilage.

The drug is prescribed for degenerative and rheumatic pathologies. In particular, the drug "Alflutop" instruction recommends spondylosis, osteoarthrosis of different localization (arthrosis of small joints, gonarthrosis, coxarthrosis). The medication is prescribed in the rehabilitation period after surgical interventions and joint injuries.

The drug "Alflutop" instruction can be used only in adults.

The introduction is carried out deep inside the muscle. Typically, the dosage is one milliliter once a day. The duration of the course is twenty days.

When lesions in a large joint, the introduction is carried out inside it. The maximum dosage of the drug "Alflutop" is 2 ml every three days. The duration of the course is five injections per joint.

If necessary, and the presence of indications, repeat courses are held three or six months later.

The drug "Alflutop" instruction does not admit to the appointment with individual intolerance. Do not prescribe a remedy for pregnant, nursing.

When using the drug, side reactions are possible. The drug can provoke a burning sensation at the injection site, skin flushing, dermatitis, myalgia (short-term). With intraarticular administration, in a number of cases, pain intensity was increased (as a result of increased blood supply and activation of metabolism). Very rarely there was an allergy to the drug: rashes, hives, puffiness of the neck, palpitations, shortness of breath, agitation. Some patients noted the development of fear of death, swelling of the legs, general weakness. The medicine "Alflutop" can also cause anaphylactic shock.

In the presence of autoimmune pathologies, the drug is administered strictly under medical supervision.

The medicine "Alflutop" does not affect the ability to drive vehicles.

With simultaneous administration of the drug with local anesthetic drugs, especially with PABA derivatives (Procaine preparation, for example), it is necessary to consider the probability of side effects of the latter.
