Today, not only the lean young ladies are popular with leeks. Recipes for pies, hot snacks, soups and salads with this vegetable can be found in huge quantities. And this is not surprising, because it is extremely useful for the heart.
However, we are not going to praise the leek. Recipes for its preparation will make it better for us.

The connoisseurs of history claim that the leek was known to the ancient Romans and Greeks. At that time he was present in the menu in marinated and boiled form. And how do they eat leeks today? Due to its delicate taste and rich onion aroma, this vegetable successfully replaces the usual onion in most recipes. It fits perfectly with meat, fish, fresh or stewed vegetables, mushrooms and cheese.

Leek baked in a cheese crust is prepared as follows.

To prepare this dish you will need 3 stems of leeks, minced chicken or beef - 300 grams, medium carrots - 1 pc, tomato paste - 3 tbsp. Spoons, dill greens - one bunch, a little olive oil, juice half a lemon.
Carrots grate and fry together with minced meat. Leek my, dry the towel and separate the white stem. We boil it for 2-3 minutes, cool it, cut it into several parts and carefully separate the layers. We must have hollow onion tubes, which we fill with prepared minced meat. After that, we lubricate the baking dish and put the tubes into it with minced meat.
Now prepare the sauce for baking. For this, tomato paste is bred with a glass of vegetable broth. On vegetable oil fry spoon table with a hill of flour and a thin trickle pour tomato, without stopping stirring. Add to the taste of juice half a lemon, a little salt and sugar. If you like more spicy dishes, we recommend using black and white pepper. The mixture is kept on fire until it thickens, after which we water the tubes and put the dish in the oven for 7-8 minutes.
