Lavrova Natalia Alexandrovna became the first two-time Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics in group exercises. She received the title of Honored Master of Sports of the Russian Federation. Childhood

In Penza on August 4, 1984, a Russian gymnast Natalya Alexandrovna Lavrova was born. Her parents were doctors. In Penza, they moved before the birth of their daughter, being tempted by the offer of perspective work. Father of Natalia in his youth was engaged in boxing. Apparently, he gave this love to the sport to his daughter. When the baby grew, his father always met her when she returned from the competition.

Her father always met after training and was proud of the successes of his daughter.

Education

When the time came, Natalia was enrolled in the Penza secondary school number 75. After her graduation, the girl entered the same city in the State Pedagogical University. Belinsky. Successfully graduated from it and completely plunged into a favorite thing.

Sports career

Lavrova Natalia Alexandrovna began to play sports since the age of five. That's when her parents wrote her to the rhythmic gymnastics section. Natalia had excellent and friendly relations with her first coach. She absorbed all the elements of gymnastics like a sponge.

Always with excitement and pleasure performed new exercises. Worked them out, repeating to infinity, leading to complete perfection. But soon the coach went to the decree, and Natalia was sad. During this period, she went to training simply out of habit.

She was a coach in rhythmic gymnastics and trained athletes for the Olympic Games.

The tragedy that cut short life

Lavrova Natalia Alexandrovna was killed in a car accident on April 23, 2010, at the age of 25. She accompanied her younger sister Olga from Penza to Shemysheyka. On this day in the morning it rained, the road after it was very slippery, the roadside - raskvrashennoy. Mazda was going to meet the sisters. Olga could not cope with the management, and their car was thrown on the oncoming lane.

Accidents could not be avoided. Machines collided with terrible force. The main blow occurred just where Natalia was sitting - on the right side of the VAZ of the 14th model. So, in tragic accident, Natalya Aleksandrovna Lavrova left the life. The funeral took place in Penza, in the Novozapadnoye cemetery, on the Walk of Fame. Farewell to the sisters was held in the sports complex "Burtasy". The flow of people was endless. Vice-president of the federation Irina Viner, coaches and pupils of Lavrovoy arrived from Moscow. The funeral was held in the Assumption Cathedral. The sisters were escorted into the last way by a three-time volley.

Awards

Lavrova Natalia Alexandrovna, artistic gymnastics for which became not just a hobby, but a favorite thing of all life, was awarded the Order of Honor and Friendship. Signs of distinction were awarded for the great contribution to the development of physical culture of the country and sports achievements at the Olympiads. In 2012 there were competitions for the Cup of the Olympic champion. And the authorities of Penza are planning to install a monument to Lavrov.
