At the motor show visitors could see first-hand a conceptually new model of the first in the history of making cars from the Lamborghini SUV. Engineers had to cope with a difficult task, because they had to completely reconsider their long-standing approach to creating sports supercars. But the expectations were crowned with success - the car combines a truly sporty style and a very elegant interior. Based on the first impressions, the car was completely ready for everyday trips both on busy highways and off-road. The Lamborghini Urus wheelbase is a permanent four-wheel drive. And the ability to adjust the ride height, roomy 4-seater cabin and universal luggage compartment only warms interest to the novelty.

After all, all sports cars from the Italian auto concern were deprived of this. The only exception was the SUV LM 002, conceptually similar to the Urus, but produced in the late 80-ies of the last century. However, presented at the motor show in Beijing Urus did not lose all the features characteristic of Lamborghini cars. The first thing that catches your eye is an impressive appearance. However, the Lamborghini Urus does not look too massive: having a width of 2 meters, the car is ideal for sports-grade proportions. Another distinguishing feature - the height of only 1.66 meters, and 24-inch wheels and double-spoke wheels only emphasize the solidity of the car. The length is 4.99 meters. By the way, in the translation from Greek "Urus" means "horror", "confusion", and the appearance of the car fully justifies its name.

Impressive and engine SUV. Under the hood is a powerful V-engine with a volume of 6 dm³ for 600 hp, or a more "modest" V8 gasoline engine with two 400 hp turbines. According to the representative of Lamborghini, the top model version will accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds. Excellent combination with the engine high-speed robotic gearbox with 2 clutches. The body of the car is made of lightweight materials, which provides the car with high aerodynamics. At Lamborghini Urus, the CO2 emissions are the lowest among all representatives of this class. Many of the elements of the car are made of carbon fiber. The body panel, spoilers, 4 individual seats and much more is made from this material.

Ergonomics of the cabin supercar also deserves a solid five. For example, you can control the headlights and windshield wipers either from the steering wheel or directly from the center console. To facilitate the management of other functions (climate control, entertainment, gps-navigation), the central panel of the car has a touch screen. Similar displays in the Lamborghini Urus are also available for the rear row seats. The plans of the Italian concern - production of just over 3 thousand copies annually. It is expected that batch production will not begin until the end of 2015, and at Lamborghini Urus the price will be about $ 200,000. The company pins high hopes on the Russian market, and also hopes that Urus will like motorists from North America, Great Britain - the main markets for sports supercars.
