Kopanskoe - a lake for mental rest

Lake: how to get there by car

On this beautiful reservoir there are buses No.88 / 83 in 8.20 and no. 75/83 at 15.30, and on the weekends at 19.30. Both routes depart from Kalischa. Curious story

An unusual story is connected with this lake. At one time it was considered a secret object. At the dawn of the 20th century torpedoes were tested in this place. After that, here on the lake they were installed on warships. Already by the thirties, a military settlement was formed here, various tests were conducted. But during the war during the retreat this place was cleaned, and all structures were demolished. Since that period, silence has remained on the lake.
