The most interesting sights of Kemerovo
One of the most attractive cities in Russia is Kemerovo. It is located in the foothills of the Kuznetsk Alatau on the coast of the Tom River. It is quite a young city, formed on the site of the village of Shcheglov in 1918, which has a three-hundred year biography. Despite its youth, Kemerov's sights make a decent list. It has a wide choice of places to visit. The river Tom flows through the entire village, dividing it into two parts. The central part of the city is on the left bank. Here is a wide promenade with a superb view of the Krasnrodsk hills. In the modern city operates an international airport.
But, architectural structures are not the only interesting places that Kemerovo is famous for. The sights of the city include in their list a lot of original monuments and monuments. On the Pritomsky embankment of the city there is a monument to a stray dog. The composition is a metal structure, in the upper part of which is a hatch cover. It is on this lid that there is a figure of a lying dog. There are monuments erected in honor of outstanding people, for example the monument to Vladimir Martemyanov, installed on the Pritomskaya Embankment. And on the Volkov square a monument to Mikhail Volkov is erected.
Among other attractive places of the city you can note the Theater of Drama. On the left bank of the Iskitimka River lies a beautiful Victory Park. Here you can see a lot of monuments, an exhibition of military equipment and guns. In 2006, a monument was erected to locomotive (locomotive of the 50's). No less popular is the City Garden - a cozy park with various attractions.
Sights of Kemerovo, photos of which are represented here, can not fully convey their beauty and grandeur. To get a more realistic view of these places, you need to see them with your own eyes.
