Kombucha: contraindications and recommendations, rules for preparing a drink

Externally, a mushroom or, as it is also called, a Japanese mushroom, looks like a dense mucous film of yellowish color, reminiscent of a jellyfish. It floats on the surface of the liquid and, getting into favorable conditions, can grow to impressive proportions.

To obtain a tea drink, a mushroom or a small piece of it should be placed in a favorable environment: sweet (about 5 to 6 tsp sugar per liter of liquid) black or green tea of medium strength. A small piece of mushroom is put in a three-liter jar and put it in a warm place. A couple of days later he comes to the surface. In addition to the usual sugar, you can use glucose or fructose. It is important to remember that tea should not be cooked too strong: a tea fungus, the use of which is shown in many diseases, does not develop well with an overabundance of tannins. If everything is done correctly, the drink will be ready in six to seven days.

For systematic preparation of tea infusion it is more convenient to have two cans: in the first one it will be prepared, and in the second it is necessary to drain the ready-made drink. Sprinkle sugar directly on the mushroom in no case it is impossible - it should be lowered only in the finished tea! Getting on the surface of the fungus, the crystals of sugar destroy its structure, and on it appear dark spots. Does not like the fungus and the direct rays of the sun, it is better to keep it in a shady place. Poorly it affects the cold: a tea fungus, contraindications to the use of which are described quite clearly, develops much worse if the temperature in the room is below +18 degrees. To prepare the drink, use only boiled, soft water. The jar with the mushroom must not be covered with a lid, so as not to block the access of air: it should be covered with a clean cloth napkin.

Drink from the tea mushroom - fragrant, slightly carbonated, somewhat sourish to the taste (because of this it is also called tea kvass). It contains many useful substances: a tea mushroom, contraindications to which are limited, contains a unique vitamin complex (vitamins of group B, vitamin C, D, PP), enzymes, organic acids. It strengthens the immune system and has a positive effect on the digestive system. In addition, the specific substances contained in it are effective natural antibiotics: they suppress the development of streptococci, staphylococci and other pathogenic bacteria.

Tea fungus, contraindications to the use of which can not be ignored, has a beneficial effect on the microflora of the intestine, destroying putrefactive bacteria. It is recommended for cholecystitis and spastic colitis, obesity and skin diseases. It helps to normalize the level of cholesterol in the blood, therefore it is indicated for atherosclerosis. Tea drink moderately reduces pressure, has a curative effect for colds, especially for tonsillitis, laryngitis and pharyngitis; Enhances the effectiveness of treatment for trophic ulcers, frostbite and burns. Its systematic use makes it possible to improve the condition of the skin and the nervous system, helps to normalize sleep, increases immunity and saturates the body with vitamins.

For all the benefits that the tea fungus can bring to the organism, it is not necessary to ignore contraindications to its use. It is not recommended to use infusion of fungus with reduced arterial pressure, increased acidity of the stomach, as well as various fungal diseases. In addition, the tea mushroom, the treatment of which, in combination with other products, gives an excellent effect in many diseases, is contraindicated in diabetes mellitus. With caution should drink it and those who suffer from gout or kidney disease, as well as allergic: in the latter case, an allergic reaction to one of its components is possible.
