Kohia: landing and care

The romantic name "summer cypress" hides not a coniferous plant, but a prosaic culture - a kohi whiskey. In the countryside, it is still grown to obtain brooms, brooms. So decorative kohi (planting and care for which will be described below) would not be considered, if not for the diligence of breeders - they brought out varieties of dark green, green, pink and carmine color of the leaves.

Kohia, planting and caring for which do not require special efforts, is an annual half-shrub that belongs to the Marev family. The plant is rapidly growing, strongly branched, can reach a height of 120 cm. Narrow small leaves resemble cypresses sparingly. Flowers have no decorative value, they are plain and small, they hide in the axils of the leaves. The leaves have a green or bright green color. In autumn they change and acquire orange or reddish shades, depending on the variety.

Kohia (summer cypress) reaches, in good conditions, more than 1 meter in height. She has a wonderful haircut, and with her usual scissors she can create magnificent figures. But its crown is elegant enough and without a haircut.

Once a week, the kohia is fed with liquid fertilizer. When a spider mite is affected, it is necessary to immediately treat the bushes with the appropriate remedy.

Kohia "summer Cyprus" (another name for this plant) looks great not only in flower beds and flower beds. Dry wisps are used by florists to create various dry bouquets. A dry stems kohii without much effort turn into a regular broom.
