Jig catch: it all depends on the posting
Jigging is fishing for artificial bait with pronounced toothed, or stepped wiring. The technique of this kind of "quiet hunting" is quite simple, but it implies constant monitoring of the biting. After lowering the bait to the bottom, the spinner should make several turns with a reel handle, then he stops the rotation and enables the bait to plan to the ground, provoking the fish on the grip.
Jigging depends on the sensitivity of the tackle. No less important is the constant control of the bait, which is at a sufficient distance. The fisherman must perfectly feel the tackle to represent the state of the bait in the bottom.
For the type of jig fishing, the most commonly used are carbon-fiber high-modulus fishing rods with quality coils that have a soft smooth running and anti-reverse.
The length of the spinning each fisherman determines, based on his own preferences. However, there are some recommendations that should be adhered to. For long casts it is safe and easy to catch on a three-meter rod. It is also advisable for fishing from a boat, since it gives an opportunity to harvest about eight meters around.
Such equipment for jig fishing, like a coil, should be smooth, reliable and balanced stroke. In its work there should be no play when rotating or cross-winding.
Many anglers consider that jig fishing depends primarily on the wiring technique, consisting of two phases. First, attract the attention of a predator, and then seduce him for a bite. And the movements can be both vertical and horizontal, with jumps, descents and ascents.
Jigging can take place on the river sites located below the dam, on deep pits and sand deposits, at piles, etc. Depending on the transparency of the water and the speed of the current, the fish can be at very different depths. Sometimes it is dispersed in shallow water or where the river bed is very close to the shore.
Fishermen say that in promising areas where there is a lot of catch, baits can even knock on the ridge of fish caught in their path.
The most promising zone, where jigging is the most catch, is the water space eight centimeters from the bottom. Often even a slight increase in this distance is too great.
At times, the game of jig-bait needs to be diversified. Often, the predator is often attracted by rapid movements of a half meter up or down, and then a pause.
If the weather conditions allow you to fish with a two- or three-gram jig-head, then on a weak course of the need for an additional leash with a hook usually does not arise. However, if the flow rate increases or the wind rises, and therefore the control of the boat becomes more complicated, it is more appropriate to use a heavier tackle and a sink that keeps the bait in the critical zone.
