The first works with fruit trees are planned for early spring. Experienced gardeners are advised to begin to fight pests as soon as snow comes down and the air warms up to + 5 ° C. Usually this happens closer to the middle of March, when the kidneys just begin to form. The first thing to do is brush the tree trunk. On the same day, you make the necessary solution and process the plants. Pay special attention to cracks on the crust, where harmful microorganisms could hibernate.

Processing of trees in autumn
Closing of the season and preparation of the garden for wintering occur between October and November. This should be done when the foliage is already opal, especially if you use chemicals. Before processing on trees older than 6 years, it is desirable to remove the old bark and lichens so that they do not winter various pests and pathogens. This is done with a metal brush. After this cleaning, you can start the first spraying with fresh solution. The second spraying you can do after the first frost, when the weeds and all fallen leaves will be removed.
Preparations used for the treatment of trees
- Copper sulfate - protects plants from moniliasis, curly hair, scab, coccimicosis and phyllosticosis. Processing takes place in the first half of March and at the end of October.
- Iron vitriol - supplies plants with the necessary iron and effectively protects against pests. Processing takes place twice a year, when the garden has not yet turned green and when it is already preparing for wintering.
- Urea (carbamide) - destroys the larvae of pests and slows the speed of plum awakening after wintering (for 1-2 weeks), which preserves its color from spring frosts. Processing occurs lastly before winter and spring after flowering.
- "Preparation 30" - it relieves plants from wintering in the bark of leaf rollers, whiteflies, aphids, mites, moths, chervets and sodas. Treatment occurs in early spring and late autumn, although this tool is used in the summer. Gardeners are advised not to use it more than once in 3 years.
