Igor Bunich is a man of thought and speech

How much can you recall writers, civic leaders who, seeing all the situation in the country of the 30s, were not afraid to talk about it openly? In fact, there are very few such people, and this man was Igor Bunich. Before plunging into his literature, it is necessary to find out the ways of his life, in order to understand that all his work is an echo of the state of society and power, in particular.

Biographical information

Igor Bunich was born on September 28 in 1937. All his childhood he lived in Leningrad. He graduated from the School of Naval Affairs in the city of Eisk, which influenced in some ways and his work. After that, he returned to Leningrad, where he entered the shipbuilding institute. The original profession was associated with naval affairs - in the Naval Academy was engaged in the study of archival materials. Also one of the hobbies of Igor Bunich was the translation of articles from foreign languages.

After the dismissal, the writer begins to distribute his own translations and narratives on military topics. But at the same time, Igor Bunich did not admit that he was the author of these writings. The circle of acquaintances and friends enthusiastically accepted his work, without even guessing who was the author. Drawing attention to the wide distribution of his literature, Igor Bunich began publishing his texts in 1981 under the pseudonym I. Kolt in the Leningrad magazine "Hours".

A year after these publications, the writer receives the first warning that he popularizes illegal literature that "defiles power" and disseminates "secret materials" of the country. A year later, in 1983, Igor Bunich received a second warning from the KGB, which is why he is expelled from work. For a long time the author could only work as a night watchman.

A few years later, in the 1990s, Igor Bunich works for a people's deputy, which promotes the dissemination of his literature.

Creativity of Igor Bunich

Books by Igor Bunich have quite a variety of subjects. All his written achievements are divided into three groups. Each of them has its own stylistic, subject and thematic features.

1 group: history on the verge of myth

This group of books includes those that are most prevalent. The books of the first group are written in the genre of folk history, and also widely interpret the whole spectrum of Russian history in a fairly free fiction. The author does not think about what secrets and views can be sown among readers.

Igor Bunich wrote books not on the order of the authorities for the idealization of everything that is happening, but for people who clearly should assess the entire political situation of the country and dispel the myths of national history. Moreover, these are books that are easy to read and written not with dry facts, but full of light lyrical digressions.

This is a book from the series "Operation" Thunderstorm. " It has become quite popular. At the sight of the inscription "Igor Bunich. "Operation" Thunderstorm "" in the admirers of his work, associations with Stalin immediately arise, and this is not accidental, since this series extensively narrates about the leader's desire to occupy Europe.

Moreover, this is a book that proves that the desire to begin to be embodied in reality, as the author describes the preparation of Stalin for occupation actions.

2 group: exposure of political system

The idea of the books of the second group is the political views of Igor Bunich. In this group there are also books that brought the author extraordinary popularity. The books reveal one of the most popular questions - why does the Soviet government not have the opportunity to quickly go over the so-called "path of transformation", as did other European countries. Why among the Russian population is such cruelty and terror spreading and why are they so carefully trying to return the inhabitants to communism?

A vivid example of this group are the books "Gold of the Party" and "Sword of the President". Among politicians there was always a single combination of the author and the book: Igor Bunich - "Gold of the Party". This book is an example of the fact that not everyone is afraid of power, repression and oppression.

"The Sword of the President" is a continuation of this book. Both narratives are filled with a lot of historical material, but nevertheless are easily read and become a kind of banner of the people.

Another book of the second group is The Chronicle of the Chechen Massacre, in which the author reveals a bloody curtain on the Chechen problem. The author is not afraid to use vivid bloody examples to inform the people that the ruling clan has brought so many deaths, pain and blood to the territory of the country.

3rd group: a look at the post-Soviet space

These books are written in the final stage of Igor Bunich's life. They are not as popular as the works of the first two groups, but they are no less important in his work. To this group of books it is possible to carry novels "Pirates of the Fuhrer", "Kaisar Kaiser", "Alexander Suvorov". These books are filled with marine themes, and this is no accident, since, as you know, the naval enthusiasm was a matter of his life. The themes of these books are bright and unforgettable, in them the author describes life on the water expanses of the Earth.

So who is Igor Bunich a military sailor or a writer?

A final answer to this question can not be given, since during his lifetime Igor Bunich had been connected with the naval affairs for a long time. But the author is also inextricably linked with his books. On the examples of his work, we can conclude that the two cases are interrelated.

Igor Bunich's life was very difficult, but this man was telling his compatriots what many were afraid to admit to themselves. His books were screaming the truth and screaming till now.
