How to perform namaz

Those who are interested in the religion of Muhammad, and especially the beginning Muslims, it is important to know how to perform prayer. This word is a Persian version of the Arabic "Salavat", i.e. "prayer". It is one of the five pillars of Islam.

Any Muslim who is of sound mind and is of age, according to the rules of his religion, must perform a prayer. He must do this at least five times a day, or more, if he so wishes, because this is one of the most important moments of his faith. So, this article is about how to perform namaz.

There are several important requirements for this action. First, before you perform namaz, you need to bathe (small or large ablution, depending on the degree of purity of the body). If there is no possibility to use water for this purpose, it is possible to wipe with sand. The procedure is carried out at a strictly defined time. During prayer, the body of a Muslim, like his clothes, must be clean and not defiled by anything. Further, according to the Shari'ah, some parts of the body must be closed before performing namaz. The worshiper must face Mecca. And, of course, one of the most important conditions is the special mood of the believer.

There are a number of possible reasons why a Muslim's prayer can be considered invalid, the most important of which is apostasy. If a person does not observe any of the five major pillars of Islam (ash-shahada, salat, al-hajj, saum and zakat or sadaka), then his prayer is also considered to be invalid. Another prayer is considered to be invalid if the Muslim during deliberate prayer performs intentionally any erroneous actions (superfluous words, obeisances or acceptance of an improper posture, distortion of the canonical order of the Sunnah words, eating or drinking, laughter). It can not be done in the toilet, on the grave or face to it (exception - funeral prayer), in the toilet, in the bathhouse or in defiled places. There are a number of undesirable actions during prayer (turning your head, lifting it up, etc.).

Now a little more about how to perform prayer. Since this procedure is rather long, only the standard start is offered to the attention of the reader. Takbir is first pronounced - the praise of Allah (the words "Allah Akbar"). Then comes the introduction, that is, several certain phrases in Arabic about the greatness of God and the request for protection from the Shaytaan. Then the believer reads the first seven verses from the sura of Al Fatih, ending with the reading of the word "amen." Raises his hands palms upward, pronouncing Takbir and bowing, bending his head at the level of the belt. Being in this position, he must say three times: "subhana rabai azim." Straightening, the praying speaker in Arabic says: "Let Allah hear him that praises him," and raising his hands, says: "Lord, our praise is yours." Then - the turn of the earthly bow with the simultaneous pronouncing of takbir.

An important question is how to perform a prayer for a woman. She must be dressed so that the whole body is completely closed, except for the palms and the face, and that the outlines of her figure can not be seen through the clothes. First, the woman raises her hands to the level of the chest, keeping them open. Then he internally manifests his intention to pray. He joins his hands on his chest and pronounces a Takbir. Standing reading "Subhanaka", then, after the words "auzu bismillah," utters the surah "Al Fatih", then reads a small sura. Pronounces the Takbir, bending over; The slope should be less than that of a man. He reads "Subhana Rabbil Aziyim." The "feminine" variant of namaz, apart from the content of prayers, is also different from the poses that the praying person should accept.

Further about some types of prayers in Islam. First, we touch those that are "fard", i.e. Obligatory: the morning (namaz as-subkh), the noonday (az-zuhr), the afternoon (al-asr), the evening (al-maghrib), the night (al-ishaa), and also the Friday (al-juma) The deceased (namaz al-janaz). Among others, Witra (performed before bedtime), Spirit (after sunrise), Ishraq (at the same time), Kusuf and Khusuf (performed by a group of people during a lunar or solar eclipse), Truth (asking Allah to send rain) . In the month holy to Muslims , Ramadan is doing taraweeh prayer. How to make it? During the days of fasting, after the night prayer. Tarawih usually consists of four or ten prayers.
