How to cook pizza in the oven

Like any lover of Italian cuisine, I often cook pizza at home. In summer - almost every week, and on holidays you can cook and something more tasty. Do you know how to cook pizza in the oven? Traditionally, Italian pizza is vegetarian. But it's hard for me to imagine a pizza without a piece of meat. But without the cheese, pizza is not prepared. Never.

So, how to cook pizza in the oven. For a start - a dough. Of course, it's better to cook by yourself. A single recipe for a pizza test does not exist. Each hostess decides what will be her dough. There can be a variety of test versions for preparation.

Classical dough is prepared from a mixture of two varieties of flour - ordinary white and flour of the second grade. In Italy, this flour is called durum. To the flour (1 kilogram) is added warm water (without gas), brewer's yeast (25 grams), olive oil (3-4 tablespoons) and salt. Pizza dough is kneaded, and before cooking pizza in the oven, give it a distance of twenty minutes in a warm place.

A cake should be rolled thinly, not more than one centimeter. But, if the pizza is cooked at home, you can go away from the classic recipe, for example, replace the water with milk, or add additional products: sour cream, eggs, cottage cheese.

The most simple dough is prepared this way: we take 200 grams of flour and mix it with salt. To this mixture, add 150 milliliters of water mixed with olive oil (one tablespoon) and now mix the dough. You need to knead for two minutes. The dough is ready! You can experiment: replace part of the water with beer or vodka, add one egg. There are many options. But, which is much easier, you can go to the store and buy any ready-made dough: you can puff yeast, you can fresh, you can sour. And it is even easier to buy ready-made cakes.

For baking real pizza in Italy, use special Pompeian wood-burning stoves, reminiscent of a hemispherical dome. But you can successfully cook pizza and in the oven, warming it to two hundred degrees. So, we have a dough.

What's next? Before you cook pizza in the oven, you need to do two important things: grate the cheese and cook the sauce. Cheese should be necessarily firm. We rub it on small, but it is possible and on a large grater. Sauce - according to your taste. The simplest option is ketchup. It is more complicated - tomato pulp with basil and lemon juice, ground into a gruel through a blender. We smear our sauce with sauce. Traditionally, the cake should be very thin - the chefs roll it up to the thickness of the cardboard, although some on the contrary prefer a thick dough. A very little cheese is poured over the sauce. If the dough is not yeast, then put it for a minute in the oven.

Now, how to cook the pizza in the oven next. We make the filling. That's where there is a fantasy. My favorite pizza consists of such components (it is taken a little bit): cucumbers, ham, mushrooms, olives, sweet pepper. Over all this, tomatoes are laid, and everything is covered with cheese and sliced greens, and then sprinkled with spices - salt, pepper, can be paprika. Sometimes I pour a beaten egg - it holds the pizza and it does not break up. In general, the filling depends only on your imagination. Often it all boils down to what would be a dough, and what to put - we'll find.

So you now know how to bake a pizza in the oven. And if time is very short, you can do so. Buy small round buns, cut off the lids from them, take out the crumb and put the stuffing, like in pizza. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top, cover the buns with lids and put in the oven for a few minutes. The taste is not bad at all.
