After five minutes, remove again from the heat and leave for the same time as before. Boil again. Always carefully remove the foam while cooking. Third time, cool and boil the jam, keep on the stove for about ten minutes, then spread it over the jars. Turn them upside down, cover with a blanket and let cool. Option without pits

If you love homemade cakes, you should stock up on cherry jam, which you can add to it. This means that you have to get rid of pits. In addition, this recipe does not use water. You need a kilogram of berries and a little more sugar - about a kilogram and two hundred grams. Rinse thoroughly and clean cherries, transfer to enameled dishes, pouring sugar. Leave the juice. When the sugar dissolves, stir the future jam. Put a bowl on the stove and boil, periodically stirring everything. After boiling, remove for half an hour from the plate. Boil again and again for half an hour twice. After this, pour over the jars and tighten them with metal covers. Of course, tinkering with the cleaning of berries is not a simple task, but such a cherry jam is very useful for cakes and pies.

Quick option

Not all housewives have time for long cooking. In addition, many are concerned about the usefulness of products. For such cases, a quick jam from cherries is ideal, which does not require you to make significant efforts. Take a kilo of berries and a half a kilogram of sugar. Rinse the cherry thoroughly, it is not necessary to clean it. Pour sugar and leave for a while. Drain the resulting juice, cook on the stove to get the syrup. Put the berries in it and boil it on the stove for ten minutes, then immediately transfer it to pre-sterilized jars, roll up.
