How to Make Pumpkin and Apricot Jam: A Simple Recipe for Dessert

Required products:

  • Lemon - ½ part of fruit;
  • Pumpkin fresh without skin - 1 kg;
  • Sand sugar - 300 g;
  • Dried apricots with sourish yellow - 300 g;
  • Cinnamon powder - use as desired.

Thus, it is required to take a small pumpkin, wash it well in warm water, and then clean it of hard peel and seeds. Next, the vegetable should be chopped into cubes with sides 0.5-1 centimeter.

And so on until the pumpkin is completely soft (3-4 times).

Seeding of jam

After the dessert is ready, it should be spread over sterilized jars (directly in the hot state) and immediately closed using a seaming device. Further, jars with jam are to be turned over, tightly wrapped with an old rug and left for a day for complete cooling. In the future, the winter sweet billet from dried apricots and pumpkin can be removed to the refrigerator or cellar.
