How is the piston rings evacuated?

Unloading of piston rings is a process of removing accumulated deposits on the walls of the piston, that is coke deposits, which are formed due to the combustion of the fuel-air mixture during engine operation.

The essence of this process is the loosening of deposits and their further elimination. To do this, some use special tools, buy autochemistry and put it in the cylinders through the candle holes. Others panic in a car-care center, spending a huge amount of money for the services of the SRT (how much are such services, we learn at the end of the article). Today we would like to consider the most effective and efficient way, thanks to which it is possible to eliminate all deposits from the cylinders on their own.

First, the excavation of the piston rings begins with the twisting of the candles. Next, we need to put all the pistons in the middle position. To do this, take the jack and lift the front (if it rear-drive - rear) part of the car, turn on the fourth gear and scroll the engine by the wheel, determining the position of the pistons with a minus screwdriver through the candle holes.

At the next stage, the excavation of the piston rings is accompanied by the pouring of a special "SURM-excavation". Pour it into the holes of the pistons through the candle holes. It is best to do this with a medical 10-ml syringe. One cylinder is enough to apply 25 milliliters of liquid. Since most cars have 4-cylinder engines, a 100-ml bottle will be enough for us.

Then wait 15-20 minutes until the deposit is loosened. It is advisable at this time to make sure that the liquid has exactly hit the rings. To do this, you can move the piston up and down and turn the hung wheel by 5-10 degrees. Do this all 15 minutes, until the solution finally treats the surface.

After this, the excavation of the piston rings, made by oneself, is accompanied by the removal of the central high-voltage wire of the cover of the trambler. The disconnected part should be fixed between the steel tip and the weight with a gap of 5-10 millimeters. If this VAZ is a "classic" family, the insulation cap can be placed between the valve cover and the gas hose bracket. What is this for? This is necessary so that when the engine is scrolling, the starter does not experience breakdowns of the ignition coil.

Now that the wires are in a dead state, turn off the car from the transmission and within 10 seconds make the starter motor scrolling. This way we will throw the remaining liquid out of the cylinders.

Everything, the excision of the piston rings came to an end. Now it remains to collect all the details back and make a trial start of the engine, while pressing the gas pedal.
