Famous Russian hockey player Alexander Guskov was born on November 26, 1976 in the city of Gorky, which is now called Nizhny Novgorod. Hockey was carried away at the age of 6, in his hometown the ice arena was located just a few steps from the house. And before that he had been engaged in gymnastics for almost two years.

First coach

At this time, it was possible to continue a sporting career in the newly created team "Motor", which promised to solve the army problem. The beginning sportsman accepted this offer and left Nizhny Novgorod.

After "Motor" the player moved to "Lada". In the Togliatti club, he played a full season, but six months later Alexander Guskov, the championship for which was not the best way, was leased to Chelyabinsk "Tractor". After playing several games for him, the sportsman was again returned to the Avtozavodtsev, where he finished the season. After that the transition to Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik took place.
