How to create a video: an order of actions

Planning

When the hands are scratching to get down to work, you want to make up the plan, but if you take on more than just making videos from photos from a holiday destination or family celebration, the plan will be very welcome. Without prior preparation, you should not start presentations or educational lessons. Prepare the necessary information and give it a clear sequence. At the same time, make up the texts as short and capacious as possible.

Selection of material

Before creating a video from photos, video clips and text, all the elements of the future work must be collected. Depending on your tasks, use either ready-made materials from the Internet, or take your own pictures and record music. To edit both, use the programs described in the previous paragraph.

Layout in the Windows Movie Maker project

The selected elements should now be added to the program of Muvi Maker. To do this, open it, then click "Import Video" or "Import Images" in the "Actions" panel. The files you selected will appear in the "Collections" panel. Drag them to the time line in the display order. With the photo everything is simple, and the video has its own nuances: the movie is automatically exposed to the storyboard when added to the project, and the "Collections" are already cut pieces. You can choose all of them or any part necessary for work.

Add captions

Adding text to the image, be sure to consider the time that the viewer will need to read. Add 2-5 seconds in the case where the words accompany the picture - they will leave to the perception of what is imprinted on it.

Effects and Transitions

An interesting change of staff is an important detail when creating a video. To see how a particular transition looks, select "View Video Effects" or "View Video Transitions". After evaluating the possibilities of each of them, select the one you like and drag its icon to the desired frame.

Audio processing

After the work with pictures and text is completed, and the time of the image of each frame is shown, you can see how many minutes and seconds is the finished presentation. The musical accompaniment should correspond to it in duration, therefore from the separate fragments or the whole work with the help of the sound editor the necessary audio file is created. From the computer's memory, put the finished sound into the project via "Import sound or music"

Preservation
