An important factor is the lack of information. If a person receives only negative reviews about countries, then a kind of dislike emerges, which can grow into something more. Therefore, one must treat this objectively, considering the question from all sides.

Nationalism, which has settled in the hearts of people, can lead to irreparable consequences. How much do we know about skirmishes between representatives of different nationalities, between native inhabitants of cities and visitors. Because of wrong views, innocent suffer, and the situation is growing more and more. Groups that share Hitler's views became not a novelty today. But Nazism is the worst manifestation of nationalism. Here, people already have hatred, and not only to some national minorities, but to the whole world. The desire to make the best of your nation by exterminating the rest.

Nationalism always has a negative impact on a person's life. Often we have to deal with people of different nationalities. Dislike for them affects the attitude, working capacity in the team, communication, etc. Yes, and to the person himself, who manifests such a negative trait, a slightly different attitude. With him less want to be frank, spend time, discuss various issues. Nationalism is reflected in the whole character of man. He becomes withdrawn, aggressive, intractable. This makes the circle of his friends less and less. And in the end he will be in the same group as himself.

However, nationalism is the worst distortion of one of the most important qualities of a person. And this quality is patriotism. This is really excellent quality. If a person can be proud of his country, despite all the actions of politicians, its history, its people, it is a true citizen of its power. Some people do not like their homeland, but they too can be understood. In the history of each country there are pages that you want to snatch, but there are very few of them, an insignificant number. Therefore, one must love the country, be proud of its history and its people.
