Diffuse mastopathy of mammary glands: causes, symptoms and treatment

The state of the nervous system affects the hormonal background . Of course, sexual dissatisfaction, constant stress, family problems and strong emotional feelings can be attributed to risk factors.

On the other hand, diffuse mastopathy of the mammary glands can be associated with the negative impact of the external environment, in particular with poor ecology, malnutrition, abuse of sunbathing and sunbeds. Negative on the state of health affects addiction to alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances, as well as smoking.

As a rule, the appearance of the main symptoms is associated with the menstrual cycle, at least at the initial stages of the disease. Before the onset of menstruation, the breast swells, increases in size and becomes painful. Diffuse form of mastopathy is accompanied by proliferation of connective tissue, but there is no formation of large seals or cyst. With palpation of the breast, one can only note the presence of small, granular seals.

But after the end of menstruation, all the signs of diffuse mastopathy gradually weaken. In later stages, the pain and discomfort of the patient constantly suffer, regardless of the monthly cycle. With pressure, you can see a transparent discharge from the nipples.

In most cases, this form of the disease does not require surgical intervention, since conservative methods are very effective. If mastopathy arose against a background of strong hormonal changes, then hormone therapy is used. In addition, in this case, it is extremely important to eat the patient - the diet should be rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber. Useful will be moderate exercise, active rest. Some women need the help of a psychologist, and sometimes the use of sedatives. Effective mud therapy, mineral baths, warm (but not hot) compresses with decoctions of herbs. And regular check-ups at the doctor will help to notice deterioration of health in time.
