"Hare paws": a brief summary. "Hare paws", Paustovsky: the main characters

Konstantin Georgievich is a great Russian writer. He loved to travel, reflected his impressions of what he saw, people in his stories and stories. His works about nature, animals teach people kindness, compassion, responsiveness, love for their native land. With one of his works you will get acquainted, after reading the summary. Paustovsky wrote "hare paws" in 1937. But until now this story can not leave the reader indifferent.

Short biography: becoming a writer

To understand why K. G. Paustovsky wrote "Hare paws," you need to at least a little learn about the author himself.

He was born in Moscow, in 1892, on May 31. Father Constantine from the clan of the Zaporozhye Cossacks, worked as a railway statistician. According to the writer himself, the mother was a harsh and imperious woman. Talking about his family, Konstantin Georgievich said that they loved to engage in various arts - they played a lot on the piano, visited theaters.

Because the family disintegrated, from the sixth grade, Constantine had to work alongside adults to earn a living and teaching. The boy became a tutor. And he wrote his first story in 1911, it was published in the magazine "Ogni".

While still a child, Kostya dreamed of traveling. Over time, he fulfilled his dream, having visited many countries. Impressions from these trips, meetings with different people formed the basis of many of his essays. But, as the writer himself later admitted, there is no place better than Central Russia.

Paustovsky said that he was more and more willing to write about simple unknown people - shepherds, ferrymen, artisans, forest tourists, "watchmen and village children - their cronies". That's why K.Paustovsky created the "Hare paws" - a story in which a boy and an old man are trying to save a little rabbit. But not everything is so simple in this work ...

Beginning of narration

It's time to reveal the summary. Paustovsky wrote "hare paws" in order to demonstrate clearly that there is no need to do evil, since then it will have to be regretted. This work shows the nobility of ordinary people, one of whom stumbled, but then corrected himself.

Paustovsky's work "Hare paws" begins with acquaintance. Before the reader appears a boy who lives in a village on the Urzhen Lake. My name is Vanya Malyavin.

The child brought to the veterinarian a small rabbit, wrapped in a cotton jacket boy. From the very first lines there is a pity for this little creature, the author writes that the hare was crying, his eyes were red with tears. But the veterinarian did not even ask what happened, he shouted at the boy, saying that he would soon be dragging him to the mice. The child could not stand it and answered that it was not necessary to swear, this rabbit is special, grandfather sent it to him.

To the veterinarian's question, what happened, the boy answered - his legs are burned. Instead of helping the animal, the vet pushed the child in the back and shouted after him that he did not know how to treat them and advised them to fry the hare. At such cruel words, the boy did not say anything. So begins his story Konstantin Paustovsky. Hare paws were damaged due to a forest fire. The reader will find out about this incident later.

Compassion for Ivan

Coming out of the vet, the boy also began to cry. Anisya's grandmother saw him. The child shared with her his sadness, to which the old woman advised him to turn to Dr. Karl Petrovich, who lives in the city. Vanya quickly went to his grandfather to talk about everything.

On the way the child ripped off the grass for the pet, asked him to eat. Ivan thought that the bunny wanted to drink, ran with him to the lake, so that he quenched his thirst. We continue the short summary. Paustovsky created "hare paws" in order to make children from childhood learn compassion. After all, the boy Vanya was sorry for his long-eared friend, so he tried to cure him, feed him and give him drink.

The search for a doctor

At home the child told Grandfather Larion everything, and the next morning they set out on their journey. Arriving in the city, the old man and grandson began to ask passers-by where Karl Petrovich lived, but no one knew this.

Then they went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist gave the doctor's address, but upset the travelers by the fact that he had been three years old, as he did not accept patients. Larion and Vanya found the doctor, but he told them that he was not a veterinarian, but a specialist in child diseases. On what the elderly person has answered supposedly what difference whom to treat, the child or a little rabbit.

Meeting with a doctor, recovery

The doctor began to treat the hare. Vanya stayed with Karl Petrovich to look after the ward, and Larion left for the lake in the morning. Soon the whole street learned about this incident, in 2 days the whole city. On the third day a newspaper employee came to the doctor and asked for an interview about a hare.

When the eared man finally recovered, Ivan brought him home. This history was quickly forgotten, only a professor from Moscow wanted very much that his grandfather sold him a four-faced celebrity. But Larion refused.

What happened then in the forest?

Then, the main events are summarized. Paustovsky wrote "hare paws" in such a way that the reader learns about the cause of burns of the fox ring towards the end. From that moment it becomes clear that the narrative is being conducted on behalf of Konstantin Georgiyevich himself. He says that in the autumn he was with his grandfather Larion, spent the night at his house on the lake. The old man could not sleep, and he told about the incident.

It was back in August. Once my grandfather went hunting, saw a rabbit and shot. But Providence was pleased that he missed, and the hare ran away. The old man went on, but soon felt the smell of burning, saw smoke and realized that this was a forest fire. Hurricane wind contributed to the rapid spread of fire. The old man ran, but began to stumble and fall. The fire overtook him.

Will the old man be saved?

Larion felt that the fire was already grabbing him by the shoulders, but then he saw a hare that jumped out from under his feet. He ran slowly, it was clear that his hind legs were damaged, since he was dragging them. The old man rejoiced at the beast as if he were his own. He knew that animals have a special flair, they feel where they need to escape in order to save themselves from a fire.

Of the last forces, an elderly man was afraid of the hare, he asked that he not run fast. So the earshot brought Larion out of the fire. Once on the shore of the lake, both fell powerless. Then it was time for the old man to take care of his savior. He took his little friend in his arms and carried him home. When the fox was cured, the old man left it at home.

Ending the story for someone predictable, for someone unexpected. Larion repented that he was guilty before the animal. It was the same hare with a ripped ear, which he almost shot.

This is an interesting story written by KG Paustovsky.

"Hare paws": the main characters

The work begins with an acquaintance with Vanya Malyavin. Then the author very briefly tells about his grandfather. These are the two main characters of the narrative. Undoubtedly, the third is the hare, who behaved heroically and nobly - saved Larion, despite the fact that he almost killed him at the beginning of their meeting. But good generates good. And in a difficult moment for an animal, the old man did not abandon his savior, he overcame various obstacles - the indifference of people, a distant way to help the animal.

There are secondary heroes here. Some of them, like Anisya's grandmother, Karl Petrovich, are positive, as they did not remain indifferent to someone else's trouble. Against the background of the nobility of these people, the murderous indifference of the veterinarian, which almost killed the animal, is especially vivid, since he did not even look at it.

Analysis: "Hare paws", Paustovsky

In his work, the writer raises important problems, talking about the indifference of some people and the kindness of others, about the close relationship of nature and man. Analyzing the inner form of the story, it can be argued that at the very beginning the narrative is impersonal. Closer to the end of the work it becomes clear that it is being conducted on behalf of the author.

Analyzing the main characters, we can say that the author told a little about their appearance, but gave the reader an opportunity to see the inner state of these noble people. The writer told me that the old man walked around with his cane. He was a kind person, with a high sense of responsibility. Vanya is also a good and caring boy, he sincerely worries about the hare, which speaks of the child's responsiveness and his good heart.

If you analyze the natural landscapes, it can be seen that the author presented them in two hypostases. The first is heat, a hurricane, because of which a violent fire began. The second is a cold autumn, an October night, when it's so good to sit over a cup of tea in the house and talk like Konstantin Georgievich and Larion did. Natural descriptions help the reader to immerse themselves in the story, to be together with the characters at the scene of events. This concludes a brief retelling.

Paustovsky "Hare paws" wrote for readers of all age categories. Both adults and children will find it useful to get acquainted with this interesting and instructive story.
