These representatives of bronzes belong to the family Scarabaeidae. They are easy to distinguish by the characteristic coloring, casting with metallic luster, and addiction to write out in flight circles. In this case, the bronze beetle (photo above) has adapted to fly in such a way that the upper elytra do not dissolve. They are fused from birth and represent a shield, under which there are crevices for the lower wings.

The most common species that can be seen in the central and central parts of Russia is bronze gold. In the past, males appear. They overwinter, wake up from sleep and go in search of a couple. In early May, the female lays eggs in the old foliage, and dies herself. Of these, there are tiny larvae that feed on decaying plant remains. This happens until the fall. During this period, the larva grows larger, pupates and hibernates in order to wake up in adults in early July. Bronze - beetle is quite large and noticeable.

The new generation eats nectar and pollen of all the flowers growing in the district, as well as delicate petals and half-decomposed fruits and berries. Bronze beetles circling above flowering bushes and trees, forming whole colonies. Bronze gold is quite large. The size of her body reaches 2 cm. Elytra is bright green with a yellowish or golden tinge.

A smaller but no less common of the kind of bronze is a beetle bug. His color is black with light spots and dense villi. He likes to spend his life on blossoming flowers. In flight, he is much less time, but moves in the air swiftly and virtuously. His life is short, only one summer. In the spring, adult bronze beetles emerge from the pupa, after a few weeks they mate, the females lay off their offspring, and by autumn the adults die. The new generation remains to winter in the form of a larva until next year.

The largest Russian medium-sized bomber beetles are marble. They have a truly majestic appearance. The size often exceeds 2 cm, the elytra is dark brown with a characteristic outflow, while the marble cross strips are clearly visible. Representatives of this species eat nectar, flower petals and sweet juice of deciduous trees. Unlike the previous two species, marble bronze beetles lay larvae not in the ground, but in wood dust. For gardeners, these insects are the least dangerous, as they are rare, and the offspring die in winter because of the devouring of birds.

Often farmers are worried about the fact that on the site they notice these bugs with a bright color. They will not do much harm, but it's quite possible to spoil the appearance of flowers . It is worth fighting with them, everyone decides for himself.
