First aid kit for medical office: composition, storage rules

If you think that office workers do not lie in wait for health problems, you are mistaken. Yes, the work is not dusty, yes, there are no strong physical activities. But a long sitting at the table or behind the monitor also leaves a mark on the well-being. And to this can add accidents, falls, bruises, minor ailments and other problems and problems. From this it can be concluded that the first-aid kit is not a whim and no quibbling of the checking bodies. It must necessarily be available, even if there are only a few people in the team.

Rules of first-aid kit storage

The Labor Code assigns to each employee the right to labor protection. Every employer is responsible for meeting the requirements of the code. That is, the employer is obliged to provide the staff of the office with means of rendering medical assistance.

The first-aid kit must be stored in a certain place. All drugs must have labels or be signed. Particular attention is paid to the shelf-life of medicines, since an overdue product may aggravate the condition of the victim. For the timely replenishment of expended funds and control of the expiration dates of their suitability, the employee of the office responsible for labor protection is responsible. Remember that the first-aid kit (office) can be checked by the controlling employees of the State Labor Inspectorate.

In the same document, the composition and place where the first-aid kit is located will be approved. The order must specify the order of use and the method of monitoring the contents of the first-aid kit.
