Features of renovation of apartments and houses in Bulgaria

Over the past decade, many Russians have purchased real estate in Bulgaria: houses, apartments in closed complexes, apartments in residential buildings. And the demand for Bulgarian real estate is quite stable, even there is a constant growth in demand. Without touching on the reasons for the acquisition of real estate by Russians in Bulgaria, we will consider some features of repairing apartments, apartments and private houses.

Naturally, in this case, the owner of the apartment has complete freedom of imagination and the possibility of realizing original design solutions.

Apartments in closed complexes are sold, as a rule, with full finishing and even with furnishings. In this case, a small cosmetic repair is done, designed to improve the quality and functionality of living quarters: painting the walls and tinting the ceiling, installing additional electrical points (if necessary), installing new built-in appliances, etc.

A characteristic feature of Bulgarian real estate in the area of the Black Sea coast is the exterior decoration of the walls. Due to the high humidity of the surrounding air, the outer walls of the houses are finished with a thick layer of hydro and thermal insulation. It is a layer of moisture-insulating film, a layer of foam and a fairly thick layer of water-repellent plaster for outdoor work. This feature of the exterior finish must be taken into account when installing any attachments (external parts of air conditioners, for example) or glazing of the terrace (balcony).

There are some characteristic features for Bulgaria and when creating an interior of living quarters. It is not customary here, for example, to glue the walls with wallpaper. In the vast majority of cases, the surface of the walls is treated with several layers of putty, carefully leveled, dried after drying and then applied latex paint for internal work. The color of the paint is chosen depending on the preferences of the customer. In the same way, the ceiling is treated, only for its painting is chosen white latex paint, which can be of different shades.
