Extract krasavki - a cure for many diseases

Krasavka is a poisonous herb of the Solanaceae family, growing to a height of up to two meters. In the people it is known as belladonna, which in translation from Italian means "beautiful woman". Before her juice ladies used to give the eyes a special shine, and rubbed her berries with cheeks for a "natural" blush. In Russia, the grass was called wheat, because its milk is injected into a strong excitement, sometimes provoking a furious reaction. This is an upright plant with pairwise arranged upper leaves, in shape resembling a pointed egg. Blossom belladonna from the middle of summer until the fall of large flowers in the form of a bell dirty-purple. Fruit is a black berry. This grass grows on forest edges and mountain slopes in the Crimea, the Caucasus and the Carpathians.

As already mentioned above, belladonna is very toxic. There have been cases of poisoning when consuming her berries and honey. In its composition a huge number of different alkaloids, and they are available both in the leaves and roots of the plant, and in its colors and fruits. Ekstartk krasavki fully reflects the characteristics of the chemical composition of this herb. It contains hyoscyamine, scopolamine, apoathrapine, methylpyrrolidine, belladonin, and a number of other alkaloids. Also found nicotine, sterols, flavonoids. Dry extract of belladonna is a part of various drugs, prescribed for severe pain. These drugs are available in the form of pills, candles, potions and powders. The belladonna extract is used as an analgesic, antispasmodic agent for esophageal spasms, increased secretion of lacrimal and salivary glands, spasms of muscle tissue of internal organs, treatment of cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum. The daily dose, allowed for ingestion, is not more than 0.15 grams. In addition, the belladonna extract is used as an antidote for fungal poisoning.

Preparations based on the belladonna

Atropine was the most widely spread from the substances that make up this plant. It is a powerful alkaloid with a wide range of antispasmodic effects. Extract krasavki included in the very many drugs used for various diseases. Candles "Anuzol" and "Betiol" are used in the treatment of hemorrhoids. The medicine "Anastman" is used for bronchial asthma. The drug "Bicarbon" - with increased acidity of the stomach. Medicines "Besalol", "Bepasal" and "Bevisal" - funds for the treatment of diseases of the digestive tract. The drug "Bellalgin" is an analgesic. Means "Bellastezin" and "Belloid" are effective in neuroses, menopause, vegetovascular dystonia. Medication "Corbella" is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. And this is not a complete list of medicines, the basis of which was beladonna.

Prescribe drugs with the content of the belladonna extract also in the treatment of angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, bronchial asthma, stomach ulcers, renal and hepatic colic. In folk medicine, decoction from the roots of belladonna is treated with rheumatism, neuralgia and gout.

Belladonna also has contraindications. The intake of medicines containing the belladonna extract is prohibited for pregnant and lactating women (reduces lactation), with glaucoma and heart disease.
