Exclusive endowment is happiness or a curse?

A talented person is envious. Why? Because it seems to others that exceptional giftedness is the key to success. That a talented young man, winning prizes and awards, will certainly grow up the career ladder, that his path will be smooth and smooth. At the same time, people not only often confuse abilities and giftedness, but also do not understand how much spiritual forces it is necessary to invest to someone who stands out in something against the background of others. How many underwater ones, not just stones - whole rocks - lie in wait for a talented person.

If we look at the history of culture and art, it turns out that even geniuses - or especially they - never lived an "ideal" life in the philistine view. The exceptional talent of Mozart or Paganini demanded the sacrifice of their childhood and youth. Yes, it seems that everything is given to a talented person easily. But this is only the first time brings pleasure. Talent can not develop without persistent and hard work - not only visible, but also internal work. Often - including due to their special way of life - capable people have many psychological problems. This affects both their personal lives and their social status. Exceptional giftedness rarely goes paired with an entrepreneurial vein. And this means that such people need assistance, patronage, support from the community, patrons, the state.

Parents - especially conceited - often attract the "laurels" of educators talented child. It is for them, and not for the youngest genius, important awards, contests, prizes. They do their best to "promote" and develop their child, whose exceptional talent is seen by them as a guarantee of a great future. However, already in childhood, the psychological problems of such a person are laid. If he was in the center of attention from the youthful nails, he was an object of admiration, then in the youthful years higher demands are made on him. And praise becomes more and more stingy. For some, this is enough to make their self-esteem badly damaged. In other children, exceptional giftedness is inseparably linked with their extreme sensitivity and vulnerability. Being very impressionable, they strongly experience any setbacks, often live in their fictional world. Such children, becoming teenagers, turn out to be incapable of an independent solution of even the simplest everyday problems.

Exceptional giftedness in any field of knowledge or art often turns into a curse for the person himself. In addition, that it means nothing without difficulty, a talented person envy those around him. But they not only zealously monitor successes and failures. They seek to exploit such a person and his abilities, for, for example, intellectual giftedness can be a source of discoveries and innovative solutions that can bring a lot of money with proper use. Only here the capital is most often earned not by the author of the idea, but by those who managed to feel the conjuncture of the market. A gifted person who is able to bring great benefits to society should be supported in every possible way. A competent manager or an impresario can successfully work with him in tandem.

Do not just forget about the spiritual well-being of a talented person. In history too often there were instances when exceptional giftedness was a curse for such a person.
