Start of work

Evgeni Klimov started working early. Already at the age of 14, I went to a factory as a fitter not for the sake of pleasure, but he needed to help the family survive.

When the teenager was 18 years old, he easily entered Kazan State University in the Faculty of Logic and Psychology. Then the renowned mathematician N.I. Lobachevsky, who could learn a lot.

From the first year, Yevgeny Klimov studied well. I liked to learn everything new and unknown, build conclusions, work with people and tried to attach them to the conversation. In 1953 he graduated from the University and there he began to work at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy. At the same time, he still worked at a school where he taught logic and psychology. However, in 1954, they closed this department, and Klimov became the head of the University of Kazan. There he wrote manuals and articles on psychology.

Professor Merlin was a teacher of Klimov, who advised him to defend his thesis. Eugene did so. He defended his thesis in 1959 and then began to develop a new, special concept in which he helped people to realize their potentialities, inclinations and passions.

Klimov's scientific interests

Doctor of Psychological Sciences from his youth was fond of differential and educational psychology. He proved that a person is closely connected with these sciences. He developed his theory, in which he asserted that a person's self-consciousness is a subject of labor.

I was also interested in professional self-determination, problems of theory, history of psychology. Thanks to his interests he wrote a lot of books, textbooks and monographs on the topic of psychology.

Klimov wrote interestingly the book "How to choose a profession?", Which presents the results of labor, educational institutions, labor actions, etc. The psychologist claimed that many people wrongly choose the sphere of activity and therefore the future is not as rosy as they would like. After all, every person should work in his place. If he likes animals, then do not study as an accountant, since this specialty will not bring success.

The subject-activity concept of professional work

Professor E.A. Klimov began in 1970 to develop a concept that directs a person's attention to his inner nature. Thanks to the psychologist, people began to understand their spiritual world. After all, each person has certain values, personal worldview and the meaning of life. However, not everyone thinks about it.

Klimov argued that there are many different professions where a person will be comfortable. For example, some people are ideal for working with nature, flowers, animals. This profession is denoted by the combination of two words "man-nature".

Many people work perfectly with the technique that almost everyone needs. It can be engines, rockets, kitchen appliances and much more. This profession belongs to the category of "man-technology."

There is a world of professions "man-society". This is mainly communication with people or children. These are such specialties as a teacher, telephone operator, etc.

The concept of Professor Klimov is to solve applied problems that are directed at a person, his profession and specialty. He argues that you should not go to work for profit, because sooner or later a person will regret their choice.

General psychology course teacher

When Klimov became a lecturer at the university, he began teaching students with ideas about the human psyche. Only after this, gradually moved to history and theory.

Klimov realized that his textbooks "Psychology" and "Fundamentals of Psychology" were useful to students. He was able to convey his concept not only to students, but also to many teachers thanks to theory and books.

In the psychology of labor, the professor focused on the branch of science, the field of knowledge, academic discipline and profession. Klimov prepared students for life and work with the help of textbooks and people's experience.

In other words, in order to understand the authenticity of the work or profession of a certain person, it is necessary to approach this question from a psychological point of view. Only then will students begin to understand their purpose in life.

The professor himself taught the students and knows how to work with the students so that they easily understand the subject. Evgeni Klimov wrote a cognitive article for teachers in 1997, based on his many years of experience.

The professor talks about how teachers misconstrue students in psychological disciplines. Teachers pass the program with the children, as an academic subject. That's why students do not like and do not understand psychology.

However, this subject can be interesting if one approaches it correctly. For this it is necessary for every teacher to become a psychologist during the sessions and just talk with the students, give examples from life. Then the students will become more accessible to the students.

Yevgeny Klimov encourages teachers to teach students in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Then students become more open to dialogue and they can be taught to any subject, not just psychology.
