How to knit relief bumps

The technology of doing this technique is elementary. The bottom line is that for the formation of MS, one should not enter the hook under the upper loops (braids) of the row. Instead, the tool should be placed directly under the cushion with the crochet (CAP).

As a rule, the series preceding the series with MS is formed with the help of conventional CLS. Based on them and perform the described actions.

Planting the hook under the CCS from the front side of the canvas (in other words, before work), receive a relief column with a front cover. Wrong PC will be obtained when the hook is hooked under the SSN from the wrong side (at work). More clearly, these actions are depicted in the diagram below.

I must admit that elasticity crocheted the rubber band with a knitting needle, but gave the products an aesthetic and finished look.

You can alternate front and back PCs in different sequence. For example, one through one, two through two or two through one. As a consequence, the resulting vertical strips and the distance between them will vary in width.

Having mastered the knitting skill of the PC, a knitter can be taken for tasks that are more complex than a rubber band.

The top of skill in this area can be considered the weaving of complex braids, harnesses and the formation of a three-dimensional pattern on a flat cloth.

All these ornaments are formed with the application of the general principle: the interlacing of PC.

The inclined element of the volumetric pattern forms a relief column with a crochet, crocheted. The reason for it is not the SSN directly below it, but the one on the right or the left. The subsequent RSs are already based on this slanting element. That is, in further work to connect the PC, the hook must be taken under the previous inclined relief column. This creates the effect of braids. Intertwining may be inclined bands from one or more PCs. Thanks to the use of such techniques, the most skilled craftswomen can try their hand at creating canvases with complex Celtic knots. They look good on bedspreads, sofa cushions, rugs and other interior items.

Knit with raised hats

The cap shown in the photo above is associated with the use of a PC. Its edge is made separately from the main cloth. The plank was made across the RLS. Volumetric strips are formed when tying the RLS only under one of the two "braids". The second, remaining free, forms a hem.

A ready-made bar was sewn and the first row of the main cloth was tied. Further work was conducted exclusively with the help of RS. The vertical strip forms a facial relief column with a crochet, a crochet bound, the gap, respectively, is the purl.

How to Crochet a Crochet

Now it's time to talk about how the formation of the most interesting and complex element of the canvas - the braids - is taking place. In the case of knitting a small bundle from a pair of PCs, you can go on the path of least resistance: to tie several rows, alternating the necessary number of front and back PC, and interlacing to perform simply by changing the direction of the PC. This is possible when changing their attachment point. Then again several rows of smooth cloth - and another weave.

However, this method is not suitable if you want to make a braid with a lot of PC in each strand.
First, it is necessary to tie a small section of each strand with short return rows.

Interlacing and fixing it is performed in the process of knitting the next common row. The basis for the braid can serve as a relief column with a crochet or two capes.

It should be noted that when working with wide locks of braids, one of them should be formed from a PC with one common base ("bush"). This will allow to achieve proportionality of the relief cloth with its lower edge.

Completion of the cap is a gradual narrowing of the canvas. To do this, reduce the PC between the main elements of the pattern, and the remaining loops are tightened with a strong thread.
