Craftsmen who own a crochet are much more capable than those who prefer only knitting needles. To get skills in working with a crochet you need to learn quite a few tricks (literally three or four). However, their countless combinations allow designers and developers to create a huge number of patterns and ornaments.

Among the most interesting and useful elements can be called a facial and purl relief column. Their use is not as widespread as conventional, but it is also quite common.

What is embossed knitting

As the name implies, these bars differ from the usual ones by their location on the canvas. There are facial (LRS) and purl relief elements (IRS). How to knit a facial relief column, is very detailed in the following diagram (in the first three figures).

1. First, you need to execute the required number of VIs for lifting (for CCS this is 3 VP).
2. Then the overlap is performed.
3. To get a loop for the formation of a column, the hook should be wound not under the upper "braids" of the column of the previous row, but necessarily under the column itself.

4. 1СНН, 1ССН, 1ССН, С СН + С СН.

If necessary, you can continue expanding the cap in accordance with the specified principle. If the resulting diameter is sufficient, you can stop adding bars and continue to knit evenly.

2. Row 5 repeat 6 times.
3. 1 LRS, 1 IRS.
4. Row 7 repeat 5 times.

A ready-made hat can be tied with one row of the RLS or with a "step in step". If we are talking about knitting for the girl, then it can be decorated with almost any decor: appliqués, knitted flowers, beads and other elements.

The described model refers to the simplest. By increasing the number of rows due to which the canvas is expanded, and by prolonging the formation of a flat area, it is possible to obtain the product of a size, even for an adult.
