At the same time, the motor is attached to the side. Since the manufacture of a turbine with a length of more than 800 mm is a rather complicated process in terms of technology, some manufacturers have switched to the use of a technical solution with a central location of the engine, on each side of which there are two radial turbines. However, this causes a failure in the central part of the air jet, which not only worsens the protective properties of the flow, but also causes uneven heating of the heating element. And this often leads to its damage and the subsequent failure.

For a landmark, we can assume that heating 10 square meters of a room without heating at a ceiling height of 2.8-3 meters requires 1 kilowatt of power. This is all - provided high-quality thermal insulation of the ceiling and walls, as it is almost impossible to heat a temporary room. If an electric heat curtain is installed in a well-heated room, then such a function is completely unnecessary, so you can stop the choice on the device with the lowest power, or simply an air curtain. This is due to the fact that the main functions of the device is performed by the air flow, rather than its temperature, therefore the heating power is not the most important parameter.

Type of heating elements

Here we are talking about TEN or spiral. A spiral heater is a metal wire that coils into a spiral. This element is familiar to many on domestic heaters such as "plate". The disadvantage of such a heating element is that it provides a high heating temperature, and this burns oxygen and shortens the life of the device.

TEN is a more expensive and preferred option. This is a heating element made of wire or graphite, mounted inside a hollow metal tube, the diameter of which is approximately 10 mm. Free space is usually covered with quartz sand, characterized by high thermal conductivity. In this case, it is possible to achieve a significant increase in the area of the heating surface, and this reduces the operating temperature. To further increase the heat transfer of the TEN, a strip of metal is wound around it, which makes it look like a round radiator in miniature.

disadvantages

All curtains with heating function have one feature - at the output of even the most powerful models, the air will be only warm, but not hot. For example, most often the difference in temperatures at the inlet and outlet does not exceed 21 degrees, which is easy to explain by such a high blowing speed of heating elements. That is why the thermal curtain can not replace the heat gun or any other device for heating, where the blowing speed is several times lower, and the air temperature is much higher.
