Economic choice is a complex but necessary process of management

Economic choice involves choosing the preferred option from all possible. At any particular point in time, the limitations of the various sources necessary for carrying out the activities of the subject can be traced, which forms a certain objective boundary for production opportunities. Economic resources and the problem of choice are a constant dilemma facing experts in this field. At the same time, this issue should not be considered in their limited nature. The emergence of such a shortage can be acutely felt to meet the needs of each individual.

Economic choice exists practically in all countries (developing and developed, poor and rich). The inhabitants of any state are eager to receive more services and benefits. In reality, mankind does not operate all available resources. Therefore, sources previously used can become unnecessary or "superfluous". An illustrative example is the surplus of labor during the economic downturn.

Economic choice is able to determine the scarcity of resources in relation to the boundlessness of human needs, which are characterized by constant growth and change in the process of expanding the market and the development of economic activity and society. This problem is further complicated by the fact that sometimes there is limited availability of certain sources (for example, mineral resources) or their non-reproducibility. Thus, modern mankind has not yet invented a method of restoring such reserves. Therefore, the economic choice should be directed to those resources that can be reproduced. For example, on the site of the vineyard you can plant new young and healthy plants. However, in order that they began to bear fruit, it will take some time.

The scientific literature has repeatedly touched upon the situation of economic choice, since it is capable of influencing further social development. Some authors of such publications emphasize the relativity of the limited benefits and resources. In other words, the period of exhaustion of a particular source is determined by the effectiveness of its use by society.

All economic resources from the position of their role in the production process are subdivided into natural, investment and labor.

Other authors draw attention to the absolute and relative limitations of such sources. At the same time, on the second issue, they should be coordinated with the opinion of the scientists mentioned above. But absolutely limited resources are defined by them as those that can be replaced by others. The opinion of the authors of the first concept sounds more convincing, thanks to the continuous improvement of modern technologies. They will allow already today to use wasteless production, which can save sources of management.
