A peculiar mushroom veselka ordinary

Funny ordinary, it's Phallus impudicus, one of the most unusual and strange mushrooms. The thing is that it is not just growing, but hatching out of eggs in a special way. First on earth you can see a strange object, which is a dense skin, beneath which is a fragrant green mucus, and in the center is hidden something that consists of a solid structure. In this form, the veselka ordinary is a fairly long period of time - about a month.

At one point, this egg just bursts, and the fungus begins to germinate from it, at a frenzied speed that can reach up to half a centimeter per minute. In the length of such a mushroom grows usually up to 9-15 centimeters.

Little tricks

After the ordinary chickens grow, her hat is covered with a foul-smelling olive-green mucus, which is very attracting flies and other insects. It is in this mucus that the spores of the fungus are contained, and the insects that have fallen on the scent of the carrion spread them around. Therefore, if you want to look at the mushroom veselka ordinary, you do not need to look for it, just rely on your sense of smell and, as soon as the wind blows from the mushroom in your direction, your nose will certainly find the object you are interested in.

Habitat

"Eggs" of these fungi appear in the middle of summer, and closer to its end you can see the mushrooms themselves. They germinate only on rich soils. Prefer a deciduous woodland. More often than not, an ordinary chaser is found in tall grass, in bushes, in clearings. At the initial stage, the vesicle can be confused with other mushrooms. But it grows so rapidly and in full growth is so peculiar that it is simply impossible to confuse it with other mushrooms.

French delicacy

It should be noted that the "eggs" of these fungi are very fond of the French. In France, they make soups and sauces, which are considered an exquisite delicacy there. Although in Russia the edibility of the veselka is questionable, some people here do not disdain it and also eat it.

Mushrooms in medicine

Of course, there is little to taste these fragrant mushrooms, but in medicine they are used quite actively. On their basis make broths, able to cure various diseases of the stomach, liver and kidneys. But the most common use of the veselka ordinary in folk medicine is to increase male potency.

Superstitions

In the old days, these very unusual mushrooms were compared to the male sexual organ because of external similarity. Earlier it was believed that if during a stay in the forest on the way there is a gang, then it must be cleaned of mucus and eat raw, or else all the male power will be gone, and it will be impossible to return it. And it will disappear exactly at such a speed with which this fungus grows (and it, as you know, is simply phenomenal). It is no wonder that in ancient times among people extremely rare were long-livers, after all with such superstitions and before poisoning nearby.
