Dyspeptic phenomena: causes and manifestations

Dyspeptic phenomena are disorders of the digestive system, which develop due to the lack of certain enzymes involved in the digestion of food. Disturbed motility of the digestive tract can lead to a slowing down of the process of digesting food that has got into the stomach and its assimilation. For this reason, and begin to develop dyspeptic phenomena.

Simultaneously, when these disorders appear on the intestinal mucosa, the disintegrating products of nutrients, which are hydrogen sulphide and organic acids, are formed in an enormous amount. This becomes a prerequisite for the development of overly active peristalsis. Also, violations of the digestive system have a negative effect on the state of microflora and lead to the emergence of dysbiosis.

Manifestation

Dyspeptic phenomena, which are accompanied by the processes of fermentation, are expressed in rumbling in the intestine and strong flatulence. At the same time, the stool is characterized by fluid and pallor, an acidic odor, an admixture of foam. During coprology, the presence of a large amount of plant fiber, acidic organic compounds, starch impurities is established. Both rotten and fermenting dyspeptic phenomena are expressed in diarrhea. Because of the general poisoning products of disintegration, there is often a decrease in working capacity, lethargy and general weakness, an upset of appetite. Analysis reveals the content of feces of nitrogen.

Dyspepsia syndrome: diagnosis

Diagnostics based on data analysis, results of coprology, clinical symptoms of the disease, interviews with the patient is based. It should be taken into account that in some cases symptoms of the inflammatory process of the intestinal mucosa are not observed. When diarrheal phenomena occur, differential diagnosis is important for the separation of this group of violations from other diseases of the digestive system - enterocolitis, enteritis, pancreatitis, gastritis and others. Setting according to the history of factors of irrational and malnutrition of the patient in the absence of pathological disturbances in the secretory function justifies the fact that dyspeptic phenomena are of a multilateral nature.

Rapid relief of manifestations, provided that the diet and regimen are normalized, is the confirmation of a correctly diagnosed diagnosis. Differential diagnostics is also required to differentiate various dyspeptic phenomena with infectious and parasitic colitis, for example, with bacillary dysentery. To conduct it you need to have anamnestic data, information about the pathological processes associated with the disease (abdominal muscle cramps, febrile condition), the general condition of the patient. In addition, the analysis data for the presence of inflammatory processes in the intestinal tract, studies on salmonellosis, and the presence of other pathogenic bacteria in the digestive system should be examined.
