Do a simple origami - dragon's claws

Probably, some people believe that origami claws came up after watching the movie "People X", impressed by the terrible, heroic and damn romantic way of Wolverine. However, this is not so: the people knew how to make paper claws long ago. Of course, in fact, it's not Wolverine's claws and not even the murderous manicure of Freddy Krueger. It's just the claws of an ordinary dragon, who is so revered in China. But, anyway, let's try now to explain popularly how to make origami claws, which for certain will someday be useful for some masquerade.

So, take an ordinary rectangular sheet of paper and bend it diagonally, to get an isosceles triangle with a rectangular excess. Usually this method of rectangular sheet is made square, cutting off excess. But to make origami claws, we need this surplus. So, wrapped. The resulting triangle is folded again, connecting the top with its right angle. Note that a narrow rectangular surplus remains visible and intact for the time being. After folding, we got a figure, similar in silhouette to a tent or a house.

To make it more convenient to fold the origami claws, turn our "tent" upside down, that is, the "roof" down (not backwards, but as if clockwise). Now we take up the rectangular, not cut off excess: we bend the corners on it so that their base coincides with the base of our inverted "roof", that is, quite a bit. In the place of the base, bend the rectangle with the corners inside. We again got a triangle, but already full. From the top of the triangle we hold a straight line downward, it will be our imaginary axis, which divides the triangle in half. And now connect the left side of the triangle with this axis. Further the same left side in the same way we wrap again. You will get a figure that looks like an arrowhead, but the left half of the figure will come out with a small pocket. We fold the "arrow" in half, and bend the upper corner inside and fill it in this very pocket. The claw is ready. It remains only to put it on your finger. But we put the finger not in the pocket, but in the upper part of the longer side of the claw, one might say, from the butt.

Now, knowing the basic principle how to make origami claws, you can take on the rest, because they need as many as ten. And in addition to them, you can easily and easily build a paper gun. To do this, we again take a rectangular sheet and bend it obliquely with the usual gesture so that, cutting off the lower rectangular part, get a square. But do not throw away the cut off part, it will come in handy. In the meantime, take the main sheet that you just made, put it at any angle to yourself and start rolling into a fairly tight roll. When completely rolled up the entire sheet, the resulting tube bend in half and while laying.

Now take a rectangular piece and fold it along. Then grasp both edges and join them together so that the turned out loop is turned out. To make it clear, just connect the two ponytails, and turn out the middle. Thus, you have a future handle in your hand. With the other hand, take a roll folded in half ("double barrel") and thread it into the loop of the "handle" so that the handle is between the barrels. Tighten the handle to the very end, and then tuck the pins inside the loop and tighten the paper knot. The gun is ready, you can shoot it.

As you can see, nothing complicated in the art of folding toys from paper there. Of course, there are more sophisticated crafts that require assiduity and sleight-of-thumb, but it takes only a few minutes for games such as a pistol or origami nails.
