CRJ-200 is a passenger airplane

The Bombardier CRJ-200 was developed and used for regional flights over short distances. The rights to manufacture this aircraft was obtained by Bombrdier, which bought back shares of Canadair.

Landing and first acquaintance with the salon

Given the fact that the liner is narrow-phisical, it can accommodate a small number of passengers. Seating seats can be from 40 to 52, depending on the configuration of the cabin. Leather seats, located on 4 chairs in a row, are separated by a small passage. They have quite an impressive distance from the front of the standing chair. This is a big plus for tall people. Interior finish is made of hypoallergenic, completely safe and environmentally friendly materials.

The airline can order an individual color of the salon. But in any case, every detail will be executed with taste and will appeal to the passengers who chose this flight for the flight. Ahead of the standing chair has a small pocket, in which there is a detailed scheme of the aircraft CRJ-200.

The aircraft does not have a clear layout of the toilet, it can vary depending on the equipment of the side. If the ship is designed for 48 passengers, a buffet is mandatory.

Landing is performed on the discharge ramp integrated in the door. It is in front of the plane. Rising, you can consider the cockpit of the pilots. For greater safety, each side has an additional emergency exit located in the vicinity of the center wing.

Description of the aircraft CRJ-200

This liner is a modernized version of its predecessor, called CRJ-100. The difference between the models is insignificant. Only the power plant that was installed on the CRJ-200 was changed.

This narrow-fuselage aircraft is used by local airlines. The aircraft has a body of small diameter, which received a large elongation. To achieve the best performance in aerodynamics, the nose is very stretched. The vessel itself is designed according to the low-plan scheme with a pair of engines fixed in the tail part.

The outer skin is a load-bearing element, which is typical for liners created by the design of the semi-monocoque type.

The single-tail tail is T-shaped. The chassis consists of three pillars, the rear ones are the main ones. It is on them that there are two brake wheels, which are located in the trolley during the flight.

The vitreous wing of the caisson structure attracts special attention, has an ultramodern mechanization of the posterior and anterior margin. The aircraft "Bombardier" CRJ-100/200 was always produced with vertical tips on the wing.

The main power units are the CF-34B1 engines. They were put only on airplanes CRJ-200, which favorably distinguish them against the background of the older model, which boasts the engines CF-34A1. Their production is handled by the global giant General Electric. The engines of both airplanes are on the pylons in the tail section of the hull.

History of the CRJ-200: aircraft for small distances

Work on the idea of creating this line of passenger liners began in 1976. Canadair was able to purchase drawings for the development of the future serial aircraft, having bought all the rights from LearJet. 610Е так и не подвергся модернизации, благодаря которой должен был значительно прибавить в длине фюзеляжа. The future Challenger 610E has not undergone any modernization, due to which it had to be significantly added in the length of the fuselage. The new board would accommodate 24 passengers, but it was not destined to make its first flight. The project remained unfinished, and all work on its implementation ceased in 1981. But the idea itself continued to live.

Return of the legend

In 1987, the creation of an elongated aircraft was again talked about, and in the spring of 1989 the construction of Canadair Regional Jet airliners began. Despite the fact that Bombardier, which bought Canadair shares, was engaged in all the works, the names of the aircraft remained unchanged.

In 1991, 3 pilot CRJ-100s were produced. They managed to demonstrate an incredible result, to achieve a minimum flow of aviation fuel and the maximum efficiency from powerful power units. Certificates were obtained by the end of 1992. At the same time, the first shipments began. Until August 2006, 938 units of equipment were created, which included CRJ 100/200. There were also contracts for the creation of eight winged vehicles. One of the best in its class was the CRJ-200, whose responses were only positive. In delight with the regional airliner were not only engineers, but also people who cherish their own time, traveling for short distances.

The technologies for which the CRJ-200 was created gradually became obsolete, and their further production became impossible. To replace the jet planes built by the Canadian company Bambardier, we had to work hard on the projects of the new turbocharged aircraft, which became the Q400 NextGen.

Specifications

The length of the liner is 27.7 meters, and the wing span is slightly more than 21 meters. The crew consists of two pilots and two flight attendants. The number of seats for passengers varies from 40 to 52. The maximum weight at take-off is 24000 kg. The optimum flight speed is 810 km / h.
