That's just polyethylene, which is often used to cover greenhouses, does not differ reliability and durability. Another thing is polycarbonate. It has no similar disadvantages and is affordable.

Not everyone knows what polycarbonate is. This material is a plastic sheet, laid in two layers. They can have different thicknesses. For the construction of greenhouses suitable sheets with the following parameters: thickness - 4,5 mm, width - 2,1 m, length - 6 m.

In this article we will look at how the greenhouse of polycarbonate is assembled. But first you need to say a few words about the foundation. It can be built of brick, concrete or stone. The assembly of the greenhouse from polycarbonate is carried out in several stages:

3) On the upper strapping you need to install metal arches. Between them they connect with the help of a ridge and cross ties of the corner. The latter give the structure of the greenhouse increased rigidity and do not allow it to bend in the winter from snow.

4) The assembly of the greenhouse of polycarbonate does not end there. It is necessary to install arched windows in the roof, as well as weld the hinges to the ridge.

5) To make the pans easy to climb, you need a system of links and levers. It can be manufactured independently, using special drawings.

Laying polycarbonate sheets along their longest side. Self-tapping or thermowells are used for fastening. As a clamping plate, an arched corner made of plastic is perfect. It is sold in any construction shop or in the corresponding department of the supermarket. The size of one such corner should be equal to the thickness of the sheet. It is very important that it covers the edge of the plastic. Before installing the cellular polycarbonate, do not forget to remove the packing film from it. After this, the edges are copiously coated with glue, corners are attached to them. The sheets are fastened together by connecting strips.

As you can see, assembling a greenhouse made of polycarbonate does not foresee any difficulties. Therefore, you can easily cope with this task.
