Cornflower beads - master class on weaving

Using beads, you can make your own hands any decoration for your house. Many needlewomen really like to weave flowers from it. They are very similar to live ones, especially cornflower beads. They can be made in different colors: from pale blue to dark blue, creating a whole bouquet. True, it may take a long time and knowledge of the fundamentals of beadwork to create it. In the rest, even a novice needlewoman can handle the job.

What will it take to work?

To make cornflower beads with your own hands, you need to prepare all the necessary materials and tools:

- 10-15 grams of blue beads;

- 5-10 grams of blue beads;

- 5 grams of green beads;

- wire 0.2 mm thick (5 m for each flower);

- thread-mulina green or floral tape;

- wire cutters;

- organizer or palette for beads.

Only after this you can begin to weave cornflowers from beads. The master class on their manufacture assumes that each part of the flower will be created separately, and only then they will be combined into a single composition.

Weaving of outer petals

1. For one petal you need to take a wire 50 cm long and thread on it 3 beads of blue color. Then, using the technique of parallel weaving, pass the wire through the 2 extreme beads in the opposite direction. Tighten the wire tightly so that a "needle" is formed on its middle.

2. Further on one of the ends, dial 4 more beads and pass the wire in the opposite direction through 2 medium beads. Again tightly pull off the wire, you get another "needle". On the same side, weave another bead from the beads, and on the other two. In total, there should be 5 of them. On this the first row of the petal is finished.

3. For the second row, dial 7 beads of blue color on one of the ends of the wire. And the other end to pass through it in the opposite direction. Tighten the wire more tightly so that the row of beads is exactly under the "needles."

4. All the other 6 rows also weave in the technique of parallel weaving, only in each row the number of pieces decreases by one. Thus, in the 8th row there will be only one bead. But this does not end up creating cornflowers from beads. The scheme of weaving continues with the manufacture of sepals.

6. At one end of the wire, dial 7 green beads, and on the other - 8. Then pass the end of the wire through the 8th bead and tighten the pieces of wire as close to each other. At the end, make a few turns around the axis to fasten the first outer petal to the cornflower. In total, each flower will need 7 pieces.

Weaving of inner petals

1. The core of the flower can be weaved from a darker bead, for example, blue. For her, take a piece of wire 40 cm long and put on 3 beads. Then, just as for the outer petals, drag one end of the wire back in the opposite direction. As a result, you should get a small "needle".

2. In exactly the same way, make a total of 11 "needles." It is most convenient to place the first in the middle of the wire, and then weave 5 on one side and 5 on the other.

3. Then collect them all in such a way that they stand upright, but they have the likeness of a ball. Visually it will be like the inside of a flower. It is obvious that cornflowers from beads will have one such heart each. So, their number will be the same.

Production of leaves

Of course, to complete the weaving of cornflowers will still need to make leaves. In these flowers they are thin strips, and making them will not be difficult. To do this, it is enough to collect 25 beads of green color on a piece of 20 cm long wire, and then pass one end in the opposite direction through 24 beads, holding the first one. Tighten the wire and secure it by twisting the ends 3-4 times with each other.

The cornflower scheme from beads makes it possible to use any number of leaves. Usually no less than 3-4 pieces are produced for each flower. Sometimes such leaves are created by parallel weaving, beginning and ending with a row of 1 bead, and the middle consists of rows of 2-3 beads.

Flower Assembling

After all the blanks are made, you can proceed to the final stage - to assemble a single whole cornflower from beads. The master class in this part will require the needlewoman to be extremely attentive. The consistency of work will depend on the beauty of the finished bouquet.

1. The process begins with the assembly of the outer petals. All 7 pieces put in a line, pass through the bottom of the blue beads a piece of wire 30 cm long. The petals are threaded on it.

2. Then tighten the wire in such a way that all the petals are pressed against each other closely. They should form a bud. Now the ends of the horizontal wire are aligned and twisted together. The remaining segment to disguise inside.

3. If you slightly unbend the outer petals, in the middle you will be able to place pre-cooked inner petals. For this it is enough to pass through the center of the cornflower. Now you can connect all pieces of wire from below with each other.

4. Using green threads or a floral tape, we mask the wire under the stem of a cornflower. At a distance of 3 cm from the flower is placed the first leaf, and then after 3 - the next and so on, until the stem ends.

5. Fasten the threads to the end of the stem with the help of nodules, and tape - the usual glue. Excess wire simply cut with wire cutters. Spread the outer petals and needles on them, and this completes the work.

In the same way, other cornflower beads are made. Their quantity in a bouquet can be any, but not less than 3. Also they can be supplemented with other colors from beads.

What else do you need to know?

Taking this master class as a basis, you can make a bouquet of cornflowers from beads, which will consist not only of blossoming flowers, but also of buds and half-opened flowers. One from another will differ only in the number of petals. For a completely closed bud you will need only 3 outer petals without a middle, and for a half open one you need a middle, but it will consist of only 2 stamens. And if you need a half-opened flower, you should make a middle of 5 "needles."

It is worth noting that you can collect all the harvested flowers not only in one bouquet, but in a single flower. For example, you can combine a bud and a fully opened cornflower. Also, the middle is made not only from beads, but also from bugles, replacing the last two beads in each "needle" on it.

Conclusion

Weaving of beads attracts more and more people, but not all work is under the power of inexperienced needlewomen. Another thing is the weaving of flowers, it is especially easy to make cornflower beads by hand. For beginners and making the first steps in beading is perfect for their implementation. Such work will be easy to brag by decorating a bouquet with a desk at work or at home.
