Boris Shcherbakov was fired from the First Channel. A look at the causes after time

Many Russians start their day by pressing the TV button, where on the First from five o'clock in Moscow, the "Good Morning" program is charging with a positive and good mood. It seems that she is with us forever, but in fact her date of birth is 1986 ("60 minutes"). And today its duration is four hours, during which the live hosts give cheerfulness, share useful information and acquaint them with interesting guests. Over the years, the format of the program changed, its leaders and presenters (Tatyana Vedeneeva, Sergey Dorenko, Andrey Malakhov, Tatyana Mitkova), who, as a rule, made careers and went out to the new Rubicon, but in 2014 the fans were shocked by the news - on the eve of the 65th anniversary Boris Shcherbakov was fired from the First Channel. Why?

The wide audience first learned the patronymic of the beloved actor in 2007, when he appeared on the television screen in the chair of the presenter of "Good Morning". Before that he worked for more than thirty years on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater, which he finished at the school of Pavel Massalsky. In 2003 he left his favorite theater with the arrival in it of the main director Oleg Tabakov, being not ready for creative idle time. Playing on the same stage with Efremov, Evstigneev, Smoktunovsky, he took a hard decision for himself, going on a free voyage. He himself recalls that he got in the transfer absolutely by accident, visiting a friend in the studio "Ostankino". A floor below passed the casting of the leading ones, and she advised Boris Vasilyevich to take part. Being already a People's Artist of Russia, he laughed at the request to read the text, looking at the camera. But a week later he received a call with a proposal to start work. It was seven happy years, full of the desire to send a daily message to the audience a good message, bring to life the screen, participating in the dialogues, not only facial expressions, but also the movement of hands and body. The first channel became for him the first live broadcast experience in 2013. How it all happened

In 2014 Boris Vasilyevich canceled several ethers. At first he was even glad: he had a serious interest in artistic and applied art, entertaining performances. Then somehow he became worried, and not in vain. The call to the management of the morning broadcast in early August proved fatal: they decided not to renew the contract anymore. Formally, they struck at the very patient - age. There has come a new time of live broadcasts, and this is a very difficult task, new personnel, young and ambitious, have to be replaced.

Boris Shcherbakov was fired from the First Channel, so that he gave the way to the youth. But in fact, in the West, sixty-year-olds are the norm, and on our television there are age-related luminaries - Vladimir Pozner, Leonid Yakubovich. Nevertheless, Boris Vasilyevich met the news with understanding, until the minute he saw his successor - forty-one-year-old Roman Budnikov, in whom he saw neither charisma, temperament, nor sense of humor.

The opinions of the viewers were divided: some (the older generation) complained that the cultural and intelligent person, personality, others had left the broadcast , the person believed that Boris Vasilyevich did not pull any more, and indeed his time was gone. But both of them were wary of the candidature of Roman Budnikov. Very much his career on television has developed successfully: a native of the provincial Engels, having no higher education, having started from secondary channels, appeared on the First in the program "Good afternoon", pressed in "Fazenda" the fifty-seven-year-old presenter Sergei Kolesnikov. More than a year later

Only after the passage of time we can understand: Boris Shcherbakov was fired from the First Channel, because "Good Morning" was at the forefront of change. Today the transfer is radically different. Meetings of visitors take place on the streets of the desert since the morning of the city, the leading ones endure colossal loads, rising on the air at three o'clock, sustaining the space pace and preserving the wonderful mood that is given to the audience. In the summer of 2015, the leading team received the TEFI award for best daily broadcast. And Roman Budnikov by right was in the composition of laureates.

Only there remains one uneasy question to the leadership about why Boris Shcherbakov was fired from the First Channel, leaving him feeling insulted on the eve of his own jubilee. Any creative person, and even more so a person who has not refused in his life from any role, having played them only in the movies about two hundred, has the right to take care of himself. In January 2016, the channel devoted a Saturday broadcast to Boris Vasilyevich, as if trying to make amends, when none of the colleagues, except Ekaterina Strizhenova, even called the people's artist with words of support.

Today Boris Shcherbakov is back in the ranks, he works as a presenter on the "Zvezda" TV channel.
