Cooking pies with meat in the oven

Many prefer to bake other dishes, and if you cook pies with meat in the oven, you can get a full breakfast or dinner, as this dish is not only tasty, but also quite satisfying.

Before you make pies with meat, you need to take care of the filling. For this, beef or pork is bought, preferably chilled, and not frozen (in the latter case, the meat will be less juicy), boiled until cooked and scrolled in a meat grinder, and then combined with toasted onions. You can take and ready-made stuffing, which is fried in a frying pan, but the quality of such a dish can be worse.

To make pies with meat in the oven turned out juicy, you can add a few spoonfuls of broth. Some add additional ingredients here, for example, chopped boiled egg, rice or slightly extinguished chopped mushrooms. If desired, a drop of milk is added to the minced meat to make it juicier. The filling is salted, spices and crushed herbs are added.

The dough can be yeast or puff, depending on the preferences of the hostess. It should be remembered that it takes more time to prepare the yeast test. Yeast is bred in a small amount of warm milk. Two eggs are hammered in here, a pinch of salt and a spoonful of sugar are poured in. The mixture is mixed, the remaining milk is added (in all, half a liter is needed), a kilogram of flour is added. The dough is left to rise for several hours at room temperature. After that, it is divided into small pieces that are slightly rolled out, and inside is put stuffing.

With regard to puff pastry: in order to make pies with meat in the oven, many prefer to buy it ready, but you can mix it yourself. Despite the fact that the recipe for it, it would seem, is simple, the process itself is quite laborious. The matter is that between layers of the test the layer of a butter is made, which divides them.

Half a kilogram of flour requires a glass of yogurt and an egg. Everything is mixed, a pinch of salt is added and rolled out in a thin layer in the form of a rectangle. Meanwhile, two packages of butter are divided into small pieces, they are poured a little flour and gently pricked with a fork. Oil is partially spread on the layer, after which the dough forms in the form of an envelope, and its edges are protected. Again, it is thinly rolled out and another oil is placed on it. This process is repeated several times, after which the dough is placed for a while in the refrigerator. Despite the fact that cooking will take quite a long time, the result will be a gentle dough that will melt in your mouth and perfectly match with stuffing with minced meat and onions.

It is worth saying that baked pies with meat can be prepared and the following recipe. A glass of yoghour takes a bag of dry yeast, 50 grams of butter, a kilogram of flour and three eggs. Yeast, eggs and butter are added to the heated milk. Everything is stirred and costs a few minutes. After that, the flour is poured carefully and the dough is mixed, which is covered with a towel or napkin and left for several hours. From time to time, it is worth to gently knead the dough, so it's better suited. After it has increased two or three times in volume, it is possible to sculpt products from it. The remaining dough is stored in the freezer, however, it is desirable to defrost it no more than once, so it is better to immediately divide it into portions.

It should be said that pies with meat in the oven, though troublesome, but very tasty dish, which at least occasionally please the home. Delicious pastries look good in the festive menu, and in the daily diet.
