Computer for children: purpose, description of the toy

Modern mankind is already impossible to imagine without the use of high technologies, such as mobile phones, computers, the Internet, television ... All this has become an integral part of our lives. And what about the children? Already from the very birth they fall into the world of electronics. It starts from maternity wards, which are stuffed with medical equipment, and ends with our houses with household appliances. When the baby begins to grow up, they buy electronic toys. In the beginning, these are the simplest devices, but they "grow" with the children. Already going to the first class, many guys have smartphones and tablets. And often these devices by their characteristics significantly exceed the gadgets of parents. Many wonder how the children so easily master high technologies, because adults sometimes need much more time. The answer is simple: it all starts with electronic toys. To date, special training computers for children are being produced. Thanks to these devices, children are subsequently more easily mastered and professional PCs.

What is a computer for children, and what is it for?

In shops specializing in products for children, you can often see small colorful PCs or laptops that seem to differ little from the "adult" technology. They are also equipped with monitors, keyboards and mouse. However, these are not just copies of real electronic devices. The scope of such computers is very wide. Do not forget that for a small researcher of life the game is the most important component, due to which he realizes his creative abilities, more fully reveals his potential, develops memory and perception. Therefore, the main function, embedded in the computer (children's), - game. Due to this, the child acquires the necessary skills in an unobtrusive form, without caprice and coercion.

Practically in any computer for children included various programs intended for training. Usually, they are divided into blocks: mathematics, Russian language, music, logic, drawing, games, etc. In addition, such devices have a special section that deals with the work on the Internet, as well as training in typing skills on the keyboard. This greatly facilitates the child's familiarity with conventional computers in the future. Such a standard set of programs for training is designed for children from three to five years. However, on sale there are models designed for schoolchildren. According to the functional they are close to real PCs and include programs for all school disciplines, such as astronomy, physics, biology, geometry, etc.

And how to choose children's computers? There are several basic criteria that should be followed when buying such a device. Let's talk more about each of them.

Age of the user

This is the most important criterion. To date, there are only two variants of age groups: for toddlers (3-5 years) and for schoolchildren. Sometimes parents are interested, but there is a children's computer from a year. At once we will tell, that for crumbs of such age similar devices are not issued. This is due to the fact that such small children are not yet physiologically ready to use such devices. For one-year-olds, a large number of other electronic toys are produced that are age-appropriate.

Now consider examples of specific models for different age categories. So, for the three-year-olds, the following children's training computers are suitable: "Well, wait!" Or "Smeshariki". With the help of them, the child will learn the account, the alphabet, the correct pronunciation of words, master elementary logic tasks that are designed to develop thinking. In addition, these models are equipped with a number of entertaining tunes and all sorts of games. But the computer (children's) "Umka-Expert" will be interesting and useful not only to three-year old children, but also to schoolchildren.

Tutorials

The main parameter of any children's computer is the number of training programs. There are models that have a limited set, consisting of only 10-15 functions. The main advantage of such computers is bright and colorful design, as well as the simplicity of the learning process. Models designed for schoolchildren contain 40-50 programs. The main disadvantage of the considered options is the inability to update the software, however, a set of such a device may include sets of replaceable cartridges.

Note also that the training software is divided into areas of knowledge: Russian language (vocabulary, grammar), mathematics (numbers, arithmetic), memory and logic. In addition - the surrounding world, work at the computer, music, games, etc. Each parent can choose a set of optimal educational programs for his child.

Design

Usually, children are completely indifferent to the usefulness of training programs, but for them a great role is played by heroes who will help them in the learning process. Most often, children's computers are not attached to specific characters of cartoons or fairy tales. But models for kids, the most attractive and bright, are dedicated to such cartoons. For example, it could be Luntik, Smeshariki, Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, Spiderman and other popular cartoon characters.

How is the training computer staffed?

The children's PC version should first of all be equipped with a quality monitor that is completely harmless to the eyes. The lack of a screen on such a computer (there are also such models) does not make it safer, but deprives the toy of the main interactive function, respectively, and the child's interest in such a device will be much lower. Equally important is the presence of the keyboard, as well as its similarity to the "adult" analog. As additional devices, a children's computer can be equipped with an interactive mouse, colored pens, a pen, etc. The choice of an optional equipment depends on the child's preferences.

Conclusion

Summarizing, we note that educational electronic toys, of course, are very important for children, but they can not fully replace live communication with peers, and most importantly with the parents of the baby.
